Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation —

Are we not all in the same boat?  Well, except the banks and their employees getting HUGE bonuses....

Me and my family?  We need to cut corners where we can so that we can afford good food and the other basics.

Sorry Leslie Blodgett, but I cannot pay you $20 or more for my foundation when I can get Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation and Finishing Veil for less than $9 each at Target.

I just cannot justify the expense when I have been using this and the only issues I have had was that I needed to buy a lighter shade for fall/winter from the freebie I got from my dad (he works in general merchandising at a grocery and got the free sample, that is how I tried it out.) and it does not last quite as long as the "bare" brand I usually use.

I have not experienced breakouts of any kind using this Maybelline Mineral Power product and I have fairly dry and sensitive skin.

If you have read any of my other reviews I am pretty loyal to the competing brand I just do not like the $$ right now.  I would say to invest in nicer brushes - the ones included are just not good enough.

I have also tried other mineal makeup products and this is just the best of the inexpensive versions...no "sparkly" minerals added to sink into my wrinkles and it just goes on really nicely.  Plus, I can pick it up right next to my mascara!

Enjoy!

NOTE: the reviewer indicated that they received a sample of Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation

I never tried this one but powders just won't work fo4r me. I guess my skin is too dry. Glad this works though and is wayyyy less expensive than BE. It's really overpriced if you ask me.

Have never tried any of the mineral based foundations but this one sounds like a winner.
