Most HelpfulThank goodness I didn't pay to try this foundation out. I received a free sample, so I tried it on a Sunday morning. I would NEVER buy this stuff! Why do they call it mineral foundation anyway? It's regular foundation, and not a good one at that.
I have a really uneven skin tone, so I need a foundation...

I purchased mine about 6 months ago, when a local drugstore had it for $8.99, with a cash register coupon back for $8.99 to use in the store.
From opening the bottle and applying a little of the liquid foundation to the back of my hand, I was impressed with this product. It is not at all heavy, and blends so well into the skin. The hand test almost covered up some dark age spots, which pleased me.
When I applied it to my face it was almost sheer, I only needed a tiny amount, and I looked natural. I could hardly...
read full review »I was really a little suprised by the reviews here, because I really do like how this foundation goes on and stays on my skin. I also like the actual powder, but it's so messy to work with I thought I might like a liquid better. My consensus is that I like them both about equally. I'm a middle-aged woman so this is a foundation that might just work a little better on older skin. And that's just a guess.
I especially love how not-greasy this foundation feels going on.
Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation makeup (liquid) is one of the best that I have ever used. I actually picked this up at Walgreens after standing in front of the 100 brands that they carry, trying to choose which would look good on my skin. I know I stood there for about 30 minutes because I was afraid that I would choose the wrong color/brand as usual. But, this one time, I did it right. Color, everything. I think the fact that I had heard so much about Mineral makeup helped me to choose the type. My skin is light/medium brown, so I chose the Caramel color, which was/is perfect...
read full review »I have tried many different foundations in my years and many have worked just fine for me but then I moved here to Phoenix and I was having a hard time with the heat and keeping my make up on. One day I was given a sample of Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation and I noticed right off how nice it felt on my skin. It didn't feel as though I was coated with creams. I went the following day and bought myself some Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation in the color that actually matched my skin color and was hooked. It is wonderful for here in the desert...
read full review »I have written many product reviews, and I have never had absolutely nothing nice to say. Until now. I hate this foundation. It is probably the worst I have ever used.
It claims to be made of 100% pure minerals. I don't know, but I never break out. This stuff made me break out terribly on my chin after the first use. It looks oily and nasty. Like a shiny mask. The colors are way darker than they look in the bottle. The foundation has a very bad odor. I would compare it to rubbing diarrhea on your face. It's scent is acidic and very chemical. I could smell my face for the entire day. It was disgusting....
read full review »Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation is perfect for the women that wants a light foundation. It gives you a decent amount of coverage for the thickness of the product. Being a mineral foundation it makes my skin feel super smooth after it is applied and my skin feels like it can breath. It comes in a nice selection of tones also so finding your shade should be fairly easy. I have been using this product for approximately one year. I actually tried Maybelline's new 12 hr foundation and it was really thick.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! it covers well, blends well, is light, doesn't clog pores. overall it is completely outstanding! definitely would recommend
Very disappointed with this foundation. Didn't cover well and in temperatures over 100 degrees it slid right off my face.
