Ever since Maybelline discontinued Fresh Lash, I have been searching for a good waterproof mascara. Waterproof Great Lash just wasn't as good...but I didn't know what else to try - I've always liked Maybelline mascaras best. — One day I decided to try the XXL and I'm glad I did. Non-clumping, easy to apply. Stays put, too, just like waterproof Fresh Lash used to! There's a white primer coat on one end and the black mascara on the other. I've tried more mascaras than I can count.  They're either too clumpy, don't give enough length and/or volume.  This is the first mascara I've used in years that does it all.  At first I wasn't sure about the 2 layer concept.  Then I realized I was buying a primer & a mascara anyway, I might as well get them in one place.  It works for me and does a good job of giving me great lashes without alot of work.  One coat of each & I'm ready to go.  I only use the… read full review »

I love it! take some time and get your lashes as long as you want them! It does take some time getting used to, if the second coat is not thick enough, they will crumble a bit, but i have fallen asleep with it on and woke to find it the same as the lond day before. I like to experiment with my makeup and try new products.One I have found and am very satisfied with is this mascara.Unlike other mascaras this one was not too clumpy on the eyelashes and was easy to apply . I previously purchased only MAC cosmetics, I believe this mascara was on sale I brought it to see if it would work and it does. It is a two step process first applying the conditioner than the actual mascara but it does lengthen the eyelashes. — —… read full review »
