Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer Review

Quick View: I have extreme dark circles and NO concealer really works to completely conceal them. Forget drugstore brands. They don't do a thing. Or so I thought. I received a tube of Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer free with my purchase of their fine foundation (See Review). I figured I would give it a shot and I am glad I did. It's really good stuff!

Full View: I have tried every concealer you can name. Some are great, some are awful, most fall somewhere in between. I need something that will lighten and brighten the area around my eyes but I don't like my concealer to look cakey. It's a tough job for any product but this one little tube of liquid concealer really works to lighten even MY deep circles.

My Experience with Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

This concealer comes in a squeeze tube.There are several shades to coordinate with your skin tone. I expected nothing from this stuff but was really surprised when I tried it. I used no other concealer and applied this before applying my foundation. To my surprise, this concealer brightened my whole eye area and detracted from any fine lines I had. Wow! No concealer can cover my dark circles completely but this inexpensive drugstore brand works much better than many very expensive high end products I have tried. It's light, creamy, and never looks unnatural. For those who have light to moderate dark circles or facial flaws they want to cover, don't spend big bucks when Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer works as well. It lasts all day and truly conceals but never draws the eye to what you are trying to conceal like heavier, thicker concealers do. I still use Dermablend (See Review) and a few other "heavy duty" concealers but I also use Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer either over them or mixed with them for a light deflecting, eye brightening look.

My Viewpoint

I have tried hundreds of concealers from outrageously expensive to drugstore types and have yet to find one that does it all. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer comes close. If I had average dark circles, this would be the only concealer I would ever need to use. It's inexpensive and works like a charm. It lasts for hours and touch ups are a breeze. Although my dark circles are too tough to cover completely with this concealer, I still give it 5 stars. I highly suggest you try it if you need a medium coverage concealer. It's cheap and oh so effective!
