Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Reviews

My friend told me this mascara is considered "America's best cheap mascara."  How in the world??  This mascara is clumpy, hard to put on, and doesn't lenghthen or thicken lashes.  I just don't look great with it on.  Sure, it's cheap, but there are other mascaras much better than this for the same price or only a little more.  Also, over time, the consistency gets very dry/clumpy/flaky.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my experience with Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. I personnally use the color ''very black'', with my fair skin and light hair, I find that the ''very black'' really makes my eyes pop! Now I have tried many different brands of mascara in my lifetime, but it seems I always come back to Great Lash. It is very affordable and I find it does the same job, if not better, than the top of the line mascara's you would find at the cosmetics counter in high end department stores.  I also must say, that in the 30+ years that I have been wearing make-up...

I have been using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for a couple of years now. I like it in general. It doesn't do wonders for my eyes or anything, but it is good to use every day.

Also, Maybelline offers pretty good coupons, which I like A LOT. With the coupons, it is very reasonably priced. 

The website advertises that "the mascara that conditions as it thickens." I'm not so sure about this claim. It's doesn't make my lashes dry, but I don't notice a big difference with this mascara.

The product also boasts that the "lash-doubling formula glides on smooth to build great-looking lashes." I do think...

There are SO many items out there touted as the exclusive beauty secret to the stars... well I have the real downlow on this. I recently asked a fashion-photographer friend for some tips, and this was his top one- Maybelline Great Lash IS the top choice of the makeup artists he works with. I have tried pricier mascaras and I always return to this product. It goes on easy and is never clumpy. It really is a great value. I have tried department store brands, online only brands, makeup specific store brands, and they do not compare to this simple, affordable product. I have used it in black, black-brown, and brown, and I have used waterproof and non-waterproof and that results are always the same- fantastic. I once read in a magazine that this is also the brand that a lot of celebrieties also find to be the best. The waterproof one does on a little thinner than the non-waterproof, so...

I bought this because I've heard good things about it from a couple people.... but let me tell you I heard wrong. Very wrong. This mascara is pretty bad! Its clumpy, pulls out eyelashes, makes eyelash roots hurt, gets all over when applying (ruins my eyeshadow sometimes), and its pretty watery compared to other mascaras. Its not worth the money!

I recommend either bad gal lash by benefit (my all time favorite mascara, i NEVER have problems with it and theres no clumping and makes eyelashes look AMAZING) or neutrogena's weightless volume! It also works pretty good!

I hate to say it, but this is one of the first Maybelline products that didn't quite meet my standards.  Their Great Lash Mascara left something to be desired when a brand new bottle left me clumpy lashes.  I thought that perhaps I was at fault so I kept trying for a week with the same results.  If you are on a budget or not, this might not be the mascara for you...

I LOVE mascara, always wear it and I have never had this type of reaction ever to anything before or since.This made both of my eyes turn all red and puffy and itchy. Every single time that I wore it. I do not know if I got a bad batch or I am just allergic to something in the ingredients. Even though I have never been allergic to anything else.

great lash maybelline mascara is great.  Been using it for years, since I was a teenager and I am now in my 50's. I have tried other new ones when they come out, and always g o back to Maybelline. It is als o not super expensive like many of the others on the m arket.

This is my all-time favorite mascara. I have tried many others, but always come back to Maybelline Great Lash! It's the best waterproof and clump free mascara on the market! I have never had a problem with 'coon eyes or bat lines ever with this mascara!

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is a great use! It doesnt clump up on your lashes. It makes them full and pretty!
