Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Soft Black .43 oz. Reviews

I really love make-up and I love to buy and try new kinds. I have tried all kinds of mascara, I went through a phase that if it was not high end name brand make-up, it wouldn't work as well and I wouldn't buy it. Then I went through times where I could not afford the high end brands any longer. No matter what I tried I always came back to the best.  

The assets that Great Lash has is that it can be put on quickly, looks great, affordable and lengthens and covers in one coat! Many other mascaras I have tried require two or three coats, and still do not measure up to the length and coverage...

I never NEVER use another mascara. I have tried expensive products with ridiculous catipillar brushes that clump and flake and really upset me. Great Lash , however, never clumps up on me and never flakes off all over my face. It's a very seductive shade of black. On top of it's quality, I also have to add that one tube lasts a decent amount of time. Since I really don't have to reapply it, I don't use it up very quickly. It's a product I trust and that is saying a lot. I am very picky with my makeup. It doesn't matter what liner I use either, this product simply can't go wrong!

I purchased a tube of this a while back and had really hoped it would work well.  It was inexpensive, and beautifully packaged, and I have friends that swear by it.  Unfortunatley it didn't work so well for me.  I found it to be a little gloppy (probably not the technical term) although it was very easy to apply.  It also had a dendancy to maintain a slight tackyness that would make my eyelashes feel like they were sticking together.  The look however was beautiful, despite these things but removal was difficult and although it smeared easily, it was difficult to wash it off altogether. ...

I am one who believes strongly in finding the best quality for the best price. Sadly, my strategy did not ring true when using this product.

It clumped from day one, smudged, smeared, I cant tell you how many of my shirts now have mascara stains.

This product is really hard to put on smoothly. However, it dries quickly! Which can be good thing if it did not clump. Once it is on your lashes, good luck getting it off! 

Ladies, this is not the product to wear if your eyes water or if you are watching a sad movie.

In this case, cost and quality do go together.

The Great lash mascara by maybeline is not worth all the hype its always featured in magazines and on tv where the celebrity makeup artists claim its the only one that they will use on the celebrity clientele.  I purchased it and tried wearing it and was greatly dissapointed with the results.  It is very liquid and is hard to use.  Once its on it takes too long to dry and caused all my eyelashes to stick together in large clumps.  I was not at all satisfied by what I experienced and would never buy this again.  It is cheaper then most mascara I will give them that but there is obviously a...

I've heard so much about the celebrities always having a tube of Maybelline Great Lash in their purses, and truth be known, quite many of the gals around here do as well.

I'm a Covergirl Professional Mascara user by default, but I thought I'd give the Great Lash a try. It does not make naturally long lashes thicker or fuller. It dries "crunchy" and is miserable to remove. I finally had to use Vaseline to get remove it all! For me the brush is not nearly long enough either.

Not a good pick for me with my super long lashes. May be well suited to a person with "barely there" lashes.
