Most HelpfulMascara is one of those things most of us need - curse you if you do not! ;)
I am blonde, blue-eyed, and VERY Scandinavian. Read - white, white, white. So white I am almost PINK!
But I love to have thick lush lashes.
I used to go and get my lashes dyed all the time, but that is too time-consuming...

Most HelpfulMaybelline Great Lash Mascara
I know very well how iconic this mascara is, it's reportedly used by the 'best makeup artists in the business' and obviously by millions of women as well.
Um, I honestly do not see the attraction this mascara holds for so many. I happen to like a lot of Maybelline's products,...
review »Over the years I have tried various brands of mascara. Many claiming to extend your lashes, separate your lashes, strenghten and give you those movie star lashes. Most of the products do not deliver anything close to what they claim. Maybelline Great Lash mascara is by far my favorite mascara. It is economical and works great. It goes on easy and stays on well until I take it off at night. I sometimes receive free promotional mascaras when I buy certain products at departments stores and I give them away. They just do not work as well as Maybelline Great Lash. I have seen make up...
review »I remember Great Lash being the first mascara I ever purchased as a teenager and have continued to use Maybelline Great Lash mascara many times on and off over the years. I have tried most all brands/types of mascara. The Great Lash was always my "old reliable" mascara that I would go back to after purchasing another product that I had been disappointed with. I dont' know if they have a new formula or something else, but I find that it flakes off a lot. I now end up with little black flakes all around my eyes. I don't recall this ever having been a problem before and would like to encourage...
review »I started using Great Lash in my teen years, as I became more successful and began a career, I started buying department store cosmetics. I have used countless brands. When I became a stay-at home mom, I stopped earing makeup (mascara, especially). Now, I am working again and am once again using makeup every day. With the economy, I stopped purchasng high end cosmetics and shop the drug stores, using coupons. I returned to using Great Lash Very Black. Hands-down my preference. The mascara does nto clump, I get light consistent coverage and do not have "spider leg lashes". Does not...
review »This is an old favorite of mine, I used it when I was young, and still use. They have it in waterproof/ or regular. I love the lengthening it gives my lashes, and volume. It is not so pricey, as some of the other mascara's, and works just as well in my opinion. You don't have to spend a lot of money on mascara, and still have beautiful lashes. This has been around for a long time, for good reason.
Once upon a time as a teen experimenting with make-up, I tried Maybelline Great Lash mascara. Like another reviewer said in their sound bite, every time I try another mascara, I switch back to Maybelline Great Lash. It is one of the lowest priced "name brand" mascaras out there, and is my favorite!
Maybelline Great Lash is the gold standard. Goes on easy, comes off when you want it to. Doesn't clump or flake. One coat, and you look like a natural beauty...two coats for diva...
I have a drawer full of other mascaras that I've tried after falling for the marketing...but I always go back to Great Lash.
I like this mascara. It goes on smoothly and there is no clumping. I do not use the waterproof one so this is an easy to remove mascara. I use the brownish black color and I like this a lot.
i bought this mascara thinking it wouldn't be good for it's cheap price. I have very clum-prone eyelashes. This did less clumping than mascaras 3xs as much!
