My oily skin was shining through just a bit. The foundation is very thick textured which is fine in my case. Very easily spreadable on the skin. But I would recommend using a sponge to apply with.

First i would like to add i am writing a review for the smooth and dewy version. i am really upset with myself. Not for buying this but for waiting so long to try it. i will admit i am a bit of a snob when it comes to makeup and skin care. i like and prefer high end and luxury products. When i say this is my new favorite foundation i don't mean favorite drug store foundation. I mean best foundation i have EVER tried. This stuff is like liquid gold. i am very fair skinned. Always the lightest color and sometimes some foundations are to dark for me even in the lightest color. The shade 102 Fair porcelain is my perfect match. i have combo skin. Oily tzone and dry everywhere else. This foundation is Gorgeous. It literally looks just like skin. Almost undetectable. The formula is just perfection in a bottle. i have the worst luck with foundation and i have tried almost every high end foundation out there. Spent tons of money looking for a foundation like this one. It does not emphasize texture at all. It actually does the opposite and smooth's it out. The coverage is a perfect med and can be built up to a full coverage. It does not have an unpleasant smell. it does not cause break outs for my acne prone skin. it does not separate or get patchy as it wears off. You could easily wear and bit on your skin to the beach. Just enough to even out skin tone and no one would be able to tell you were wearing makeup. it's that good ladies. i'm not kidding. i thought since it said dewy it was gonna be super shiny but that was not my experience at all. i would say it's more of a satin/natural/skin like finish. I lightly dust some translucent powder over my tzone and that's that! Don't miss out on this. it's sooooo good. The price tag is just the icing on the cake. Love Love Love!!

Hands down one of the best drug store foundations! I have tried many other drug store brands and nothing compares. I go between shades throughout the seasons and I can always find a shade that matches me perfectly.

This foundation is thick and provides full coverage. I would use a thin layer so it wont be cakey. The color I chose was spot on. It was inexpensive which is why i said I would purchase again.

I love love love this product! I use this almost everyday! It works well for my dry skin . It goes on nice and smooth and does not make my face look cakey . And it does not have a harsh chemical smell like some foundations.

This is my daily foundation and it works great. It's a medium coverage, and works great for layers. I have a combination skin, sometimes my skin is oily and sometimes it's dry, this foundation works great for both types of skin. I get the matte one which doesn't leave a shiny finish and it lasts me all day long. I don't have to retouch up throughout the day. The texture is a thick liquid and works well with brushes and beauty blenders.
