I would be what you would consider a late bloomer when it comes to makeup.  I never saw the point.  I'd rather sleep then go paint my face, plus I figured if I didn't like how looked naturally why should I expect my future husband to like me when "the makeup comes off".  So I never really learned all the tricks and tips most teen girls learn and discuss with friends.  Occassionally I would put on some mascara or a single color of eye shadow and say "hey at least I put something on". The first time I really had to learn how to put on eyeshadow well was for ballroom competition in college.  And I didn't have a clue but it was caked on so you could see it under stage lights but that was when I realized I was lacking in some girl knowledge. That next summer I worked in a drug store where I ended up stocking the makeup aisle with the store's makeup consultant.  Bit by bit I learned.  And since I have learned maybelline's Indian Summer eyeshadow has become my favorite and my failsafe.  Perfect for the natural look and it seems to blend on its own so I can't really mess up the blending. Love it!!!

I purchased this duo more than a year ago and had forgotten about it while moving on to more expensive items.  Yesterday I was looking through my makeup and found this duo.  I decided to use it as the colors were pretty and I thought they would make a nice neutral eye.  I used the darker shadow in my crease and the lighter one on my lid and a little bit under my eyebrow.  It turned out beautiful!  The eye shadow stayed on for hours too, I was amazed.  It stayed on longer than a lot of my high-end makeup has stayed on lately.  It did crease a bit towards the end of the day, but that's expected as I have quite oily eyelids.  I used to use this eyeshadow all the time when I first got it and am so glad I found it again!  I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality product that is also very inexpensive.  The color payoff is also pretty nice on the brown, although on the lighter color it is sometimes hard to see because it is so close to my skin color.
