I normally like Maybelline even though I do wish they would come up with lighter colors. I generally use maybelline foundations and color correcting powder. I liked the dream matte mousse but it was too hard to apply but I still use the foundation. Now about this powder. What on earth? This powder is terrible! It is chalky and creates dry looking patches even when you have extremely oily skin. It is a horrible texture right when you put it on. It made my skin irritated after letting it set for a while. The lightest shade was way too dark but I have this problem often. I really did not like this powder at all and I'm generally not picky about powders because it seems none of them work miracles anyway but this was just very low quality for Maybelline. I definetely would not reccomend this to anyone with dry skin. I would also not recommend this as a mattifying powder because it doesn't mattify either. I had a huge pile of oil on my nose with cakey creases. This powder also wears off easily. Do not waste your money.

This is my go-to product I use this ever day! I love how light it feels on my skin and it's amazing at absorbing excess oil . It doesn't ever look cakey and think like other products and the fact that this is such an amazing product at such a great price makes this a definite steal!

This is one of the best powders I've ever used. It gives me some coverage, and it makes my complexion look so nice and smooth when I use it over my foundation. It also helps my face stay matte. It doesn't look cakey at all even when I reapply it throughout the day.

This powder last all day long! If you have really oily skin and acne pron skin like me, this pressed powder is perfect for your issues. I really love how well it covers , while looking natural! Plus, they actually have a powder light enough for my skin. Last but not least, this compact doesn't usually cake up.

I was lucky enough to find this and the Matte Mousse on Ebay for a great price. But I was not very pleased with this product. It has a really dry look and feel to it. Almost a ghastly look. Leaves your face feeling a bit chalky. But I must emphasize the look the product leaves on your face. It does not look well at all. And can rub off in any given moment. It gives me a very itchy feeling in my eyes and if you cry, you will be even sorrier you wore that makeup. Any little thing can cause it to come or rub off. And it is very easy to tell when something happens to it. Also it can often give you the appearance of sun spots. If you have little dry spots on your face, this product will bring those little flaws out.

i like setting my foundation with this powder wen i dn't want that dewy finish. this leaves ur face matte and flawless! its amazing. and i use it everyday and it doesn't even have a dent in it and ive had it for like three months. so it lasts forever! and my shade is medium just if u were wondering. and it doesn't clog ur poors or make ur face look cakey. its a light weight powder. but i wouldn't recommend using it alone. it doesn't have much coverage.

i'd like to start off by saying that my skin type is a combination of oily and dry with acne and red/brown acne scars. i usually like maybelline products and i felt my skin was getting to the point where i was embarresed about my acne covered face. i went to get a coverup and chose this because its in powder form which helps reduce the shine on my face. it does an okay job covering up my acne marks and theyre still visible after applying the poweder but it does help a little. sometimes my skin feels a little dry after using this. i like this product but i may try the mousse version of maybellien dream matte next time. i've dropped this multiple times and it hasnt broken once. the price is decent.

This is a good drugstore powder for oily skin. I use this for my everyday makeup and it does a good job keeping my skind shine free throughout the day. This powder gives a light to medium coverage so I don't use it for special occassions when I want my skin to look flawless but usually for everyday I don't wear foundation just concealer and powder and this works just fine. The packaging is kinda flimpsy and hard to work around but after a while you get used to it and I use it with a brush so I don't use the sponge it comes with. This is good for oily skin because as the name says it keeps your face matte! and it does a good job at that. It comes in a variety of shades that are true to the color as you see it in the package so you will not have a problem identifying the right shade for you while shopping at the drugstore. This is also for teens who are starting to wear makeup because it's not heave and it's affordable.

     I purchased my Maybelline Dream Matte Powder from Target. I do not remember the exact price, since I purchased this a while ago, but I do remember it being very inexpensive for a good powder. This powder does not have very many shades to choose from, but that's really not a problem. This powder is not very pigmented, but that is mostly I'm sure that is because it is supposed to control oil. I apply this with the sponge that comes with this product, I actually like the sponge it comes with. I have extremely oily skin, and this helps a lot! It keeps me matte for hours, I do reapply this in the middle of the day though for more oil control. I also love how it makes my skin feels. It feels super soft after I apply this. It also sets my foundation which is very nice. The only thing I don't really like about this is the packaging. The packaging is quite a hassle and it's very bulky and big. The amazing product inside the packaging makes up for it though.

I have used several different kind of powders, from mineral veils to silica spheres to traditional pressed powders, and this is the one I wind up using on a daily basis. My skin is very oily, so I need something that will help my skin throughout the day. This just plain does the best job at controlling my oil over anything else I have tried. I also like that it is easy to travel with and I don't have to worry about making a mess like I do with loose powders. I also appreciate that it does have some color to it- it really evens out my skin after I apply my usual liquid foundation. It does make your skin VERY matte, though, so you may want to apply some sort of all-over illuminator after applying this. As long as it controls your oil, it doesn't matter that you are putting a little shimmer on your face just to keep it looking natural. I do not use the sponge that comes with it so I don't care about how much the packaging sucks.
