I was at CVS and only bought this mascara because at the time it was buy 1 get 1 free. I figured what the heck. I am so glad that I did! I was surprisingly impressed with this wonderful mascara. It provides wonderful definition to my lashes without clumping. Lancome definicils has always been my… read full review »

I bought this mascara after all the raves I heard from this website.  It's okay I guess. I like the color but I was disapointed with the quality.  I applied the mascara as I usually do and all it did was darken and glue my lashes together.  I've tried giving it a second chance… read full review »

I've had bad luck with Maybelleine mascara products in the past. They would clump, make my eyes itch, sometimes smell a bit funky or too much fragrance in it AND worst of all... make my eyes look like something out of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show"!!!!! —              When I saw it on sale i mustered up my courage to try it. Simple instructions...a good start... a little concerned about something I read, water proof but washes off easily with… read full review »

I bought this product out of curiosity.  The brush looked interesting (green, rubbery bristles) and I wanted to see it was about.  I'm so happy I tried it out!  At first, the mascara goes on a bit thin but 2 coats takes care of that problem.  This mascara lengths and separates my lashes so that they really stand out.  They look long and full, rather than clumpy and caked with makeup.  My only real complaint is that after a few hours I have noticed that it flakes a bit, so I have to wipe up under my eyes,… read full review »

I am extremely picky when it comes to mascara. I want a natural look, but still want my lashes to look long, thick and beautiful.  I also wear contacts so, whatever I use, can't be runny or flaky.  This mascara has a wonderful, smooth texture but is not excessively thick. The brush delivers the product well while separating your lashes for a delicate look and you can't beat the cost.  I've tried Maybeline's other mascara's and, generally, they are okay; but sometimes find that the fragrance bothers my eyes and the mascara gets flaky over time.  I've had nothing but… read full review »

I'm a bit of a mascara junkie; while I wear make-up regularly - mascara is my one 'must have to go out the door' item. So, when I saw this new 'define-a-lash', I had to have it. Of course, we all know that what it's 'claimed to do' and what it 'really does' are not always the same thing. Especially when transfering it from a super-model's face to an 'average Jane's face. — — However, this particular mascara works incredibly well. No clumping (oh how I hate clumping!), no gunkiness, no crumbling after a few hours' wear. The brush does play a part in this; its bristles have 'some'… read full review »

I bought this at Target as a quick replacement for department store mascara  I had that was past its prime. I'm a "product junkie" so to speak and won't stick with a product unless I am 100% in love with it...well this mascara was new and had a coupon attached to it so I decided to try it. Its OK. I've had better experiances with other Maybelline mascaras, and for what it is the price was kind of expensive. I like how it doesn't clump and it makes your lashes stay separated all day (no gross "spider eyes"). But that is where the pros end. It doesn't really lengthen or dramatize your… read full review »

The one thing we can all agree upon is mascara, right? I must say, I've tried my share of different, inexpensive to "are you kidding me,that much money for a mascara",which I ended up buying, thinking, hey, if it's that expensive, it should be great, right? WRONG!!!.This Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara, says it all.Wow, I stood in front of my mirror in amazement at how well it defined my lashes. Not only did it seperate,it also expanded my lashes and of the course the best… read full review »

I saw a commerical on maybelline mascara and decided to give it a try since it is also on sale too at cvs store.  I always been using lancome which is my favorite mascara of all time but it is a bit pricey so i thought i should try something new with a bit less expensive.  I was shock to find maybelline define a lash work almost as well as lancome mascara.  It gives my lashes lenghts and fullness and also separate the lashes too.  It goes on a bit thin, i have to applies at least a few coats to give it a full looked i want.  It did not clump up.  After… read full review »

I have what you might call an addiction to beauty products, especially mascara. I've got my two favorites (one for day and one for night), but I'm always looking to try something new. This was one of those times that I really regretted it. The snappy packaging and sales pitch totally drew me in, I'll admit it. But once i tried it, I was SO disappointed. My lashes looked like spiders, in a bad way. Clumps, Clumps, Clumps. Not even my metal lash comb could get through them- I just had to wash it off and start over with my usual brand. An unsuccessful foray into trying new things. I passed the… read full review »

I have tried a lot of different mascara, and this by far is my fav! It goes on really smooth and makes my eyes pop, not just my lashes. I really like the brush too! It never gets "gunky" and really defines each lash. My lashes tend to grow kinda "clumped together" and this is the only mascara I have found that separates them and keeps them that way. Also, it's great that I can get it at a great prices and there is almost always some sort of sale. It's also great for a transition from day to night. Because it is natural looking, daywear is a cinch and as soon as you add a little more eye… read full review »

I was in a desperate pinch when I made this purchase....late on a Saturday night, mall was closed, out of my usual high priced mascara, and was leaving for a business trip the following morning.  So, had to run to Wal-mart to find something just to get me through the week, and picked this because it came with a free eye shadow.  And, oh boy - I was super shocked at how great this mascara was!  It was better than the $18 a tube stuff I had been using.  It went on so smoothly, really separating the lashes.  Have had absolutely no clumping at all, and love the… read full review »

I got it as a free gift with some other product I bought I did not use right away but when I did I was pretty happy with it. It has a nice color and helps my eyes to pop. I like the flex brush it helps reach each lash and feels good going on. It is a little thin for what I like over all so I find that I go over my lashes 2 to 3 times depending on where I am going that day. It looks good over all I do find like with many mascaras the more I go over the more I have to deal with my lashes sticking together but that is across the board with mascara no matter what brand I try. I will buy it again. —… read full review »
