This was an impulse purchase for me while shopping at my local drugstore. There was a sale for Maybelline products: buy one get one 50% off. I was almost out of the lipstick that I keep in my purse so I took the opportunity to try a new product. I have not worn Maybelline lipstick since I was a teenager and was curious to see if I would like this lipstick. I picked a color (Made it Mauve) that I thought would look good on me. The color of the lipstick is very true to the color on the display and on the lipstick packaging. This lipstick also felt very good going on. It was very moist and extremely easy to apply. This lipstick almost felt like a lip balm to me. This lipstick also felt very good on my lips. I mention how it felt on my lips because I purchased lipstick one time and it felt like chalk. Anyway, the lipstick stayed on my lips about the same amount of time as more expensive department store lipsticks. This lipstick did not run or smear. I also like that it leaves a little stain on my lips, so even after your lipstick wears off, I still have some color on my lips.

I absolutely love this lipstick to death. I really try to stick to only purchasing Maybelline products because they never disappoint me. This lipstick goes on so smoothly and the color is sheer, so it doesn't look or feel too thick, but you can build it up if you want it to look darker. I am pretty sure I have almost every color of this lipstick because I love it so much. Plus the tube is cute too, and it's thin so it's easy to control where the color goes. I really love the orange attitude shade and I also love pink possibilities too. I run out of those colors all the time because I wear it every day! They have so many colors, especially cute bright shades that are perfect for spring and summer. They also have darker shades for fall and winter. I usually don't wear lipsticks because they feel so heavy and gross but the Maybelline color whisper lipstick feels so light on my lips that I don't even notice that it's there!! I hope they never take this lipstick off the shelves because it's just really great and I will continue to buy it as long as it's available.

I love these products, they're light weight but pigmented and aren't completely drying. The colour selection is absolutely brilliant and the ranges are great. The only bad thing is that the colours don't last all day but that's only a minor con of an otherwise amazing product!

I love this product so much, I need to get more! I love that this is a lipstick mixed with a lip balm. And the best part is the color is actually pigmented like a lipstick but moisturizers like a lip balm. I'm not a fan of lipstick because it makes my lips dry but I will definitely wear these with no problem

I purchased three of these lipsticks so far and i have to say that I am amazed by the quality! They give a great amount of color with a subtle kind of feel. they feel very light,not heavy like other lipsticks i have tried and the colors are all very wearable.my two favorite is oh la liliac and faint for fuschia.both cute summer colors that pop but are still very wearable.the oh la liliac is a light gorgeous liliac shade,almost makes me think of something that is frosted.it goes on light and you can control how deep you want the color of these shades by going over them again until the desired color is there.I can not wait to purchase more of these lip colors..they're better than lip gloss.better than lip stick and better than any lip stain i have ever tried.all the pinks are very wearable and they make some great fall shades as well.i also have plum and i think it will be great for fall and winter

I have the "Petal Rebel" (bright pink), which is the color that the blonde model in most of the ads is wearing, and I absolutely love it. It is moist like a balm so it goes on smooth but it isn't thick so it blends into your lips nicely. It is also really pigmented which I love, much more than I expected it to be. It is true to color and I think the packaging is really cute. It's perfect for a sunny day. I can't wait to pick up some more!

I recently bought one of these on a whim because I wanted some color along with moisturizing properties for Winter wear. I picked color #100, 'A Plum Prospect'. I must say I like this product so much I had to have it added here to put in a review. :) This is what I would call a tinted lip balm. It glides on very smoothly & for me leaves a very slight tingling sensation for the first few minutes. It feels light & moist & is not sticky at all. The color stays on well (at least through talking & drinking a soda) & if used on bare lips does leave a bit of stain, which is not a bad thing at all in my opinion. The color itself is not what I would call sheer but not full on like a regular lipstick either. It provided a nice mid-coverage for a flushed look. The balm is very, very lightly pleasantly scented, nothing that is really noticeable. I will be buying at least one more of these to get one of the red shades. It's so very hard to find a red tone that works for me but I'm thinking the more sheer coverage will work perfectly, as did this plum color.
