This resort is way off the beaten path, far from restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. If you don't want to rent a car, then you are stranded. The food is rediculously expensive (there is no all-inclusive option) and you are stuck paying the high prices or starve.
The beach is rocky and not good for swimming or wading.
The resort is very large and you have to take a shuttle to get from your unit to the restaurants, pool or beach, thus no beach view. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, so we spent a lot of time standing around waiting for shuttles.
The resort is pretty, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The maids turn your bed down at night and leave chocolate on your pillow. In spite of all this, we did not enjoy our time here, as we would rather have had a beach view, be able to walk to the pool, beach and restaurants. We were disappointed that the beach wasn't good for swimming or wading. We prefer a resort where we could get around easier without renting a car, that way we would have had cheaper options for food. If it was all-inclusive that would have helped tremendously.
