The best coffee I have ever bought. No more starbucks for me!

    By

    from Vancouver, WA

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

Maxwell House French Roast was and is the best coffee my husband and I have bought. He used to own his own barista and we have always bought the most expensive coffees trying to get that cafe taste. With money being tight we have had to cut back on such extravagence and have searched for several months for  a tolerable coffee. We were about to give up when I saw it in  the coffee aisle and I am so glad I picked it up! I now get up and put the coffee on immediately and the aroma wakes my husband up and he is ready for his day.

Sincerely, the best coffee we have ever had!

Really smooth coffee without the bitter taste

    By

    from Houston, TX

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

I really enjoy a good cup of Maxwell House French Roast.  It has got to be one of the smoothest coffees on the market and I look high and low for it.  It is easier to find the other styles of Maxwell House than the French Roast, but I am thinking that is because they sell out all the time!

My friend suggested this to me and I found it to be extremely smooth and not bitter at all.  Good rich taste.

My only cons on this coffee is that if you keep it too long, it changes taste.  I use to buy 4 big cans at a time, now I buy them only one at a time now.  Fresher is always better when it comes to coffee.

Maxwell House French Roast - Hold The Snobbery

    By

    from Harrisonburg, VA

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

When the economy headed south, I began to cut back in a number of ways. One major area of cost-shaving was at the grocery store,  where I began to buy more store brands and fewer premium and national ones.  Recently back from a stint in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA, you'd have thought I needed to dress in black, cut my hair, and write an obituary to even consider not purchasing my usual snobby coffees (whole bean, of course!).  It took me a few tries, but I found ***Maxwell House French Roast coffee ***and well, the rest is history.

I love this stuff!  It's a full-bodied, smooth blend that's never bitter or acidic. Not only do I enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee, I'm not spending 20% of my grocery tab on just this item. I'm not sure when I became erroneously convinced that only cleverly-named, very expensive whole bean coffee constituted a fine cup of coffee, but I've learned my lesson, and fully appreciate this product.

Maxwell French Roast is available almost everywhere. It is reasonably-priced but often goes on very, very significant sales when one can easily stock-up the pantry.  Even as my economic situation improves, I'll happily and contentedly remain a customer of Maxwell House.

Has Such A Wonderful Taste You Dont Want To Change

    By

    from Zirconia, NC

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

I grew up in a house where everyone drank coffee. Not all of them drank the same type though we did drink the same brand name. When you wake up and you need something to help get you started and you don't want all that sugar like in a bottle of soda then the best thing is a nice warm cup of coffee. Some say it is bad because of the caffeine but studies proved that with coffee the caffeine with what all else is in it helps to get rid of headaches. Some say that is crazy but I know if I drink a cup when my head hurts within about 30 minutes it is gone and I feel much better.

As I was saying there are many brands out there and I have tried so many but the one that I find to be the best is Maxwell House. Some are made with cheap coffee beans or they are weak in taste and if you like coffee you want a good taste. Maxwell house has a variety and you can check to see what one you might prefer and I have a few of them in the pictures but if you want a wonderful taste I like the French Roast the best. I buy other ones too but always Maxwell house since they are all good. So if you want a good coffee that stays fresh in the sealed container then you should get this one.

Good Cup of Joe in the Morning...

    By

    from Augusta, GA

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

Normally we are Starbucks coffee fans but due to hard times we have been trying a less expensive coffee to save money. We have tried various types of at ome brew coffees and so far Maxwell House French roast has been the best. We perfer the bolder coffee's instead of the mild brands because it tastes closer to starbucks. A few of the other coffee's we tried had a burnt taste after we brewed them, we have never had that happen with the maxwell house brands. Aside from the taste we have been able to find this coffee at almost all the grocery stores we shop at! I also like the easy to use container that it comes in which makes leaving the coffee scoop inside the container easier instead of making a mess trying to get the grinds into the coffee pot.

I would recommend Maxwell house coffee's if you haven't all ready tried them. Even if you don't like the dark roast they have a brew for anyone and the price is great for those of us on a budget!

    gotta love coffee...

    By

    from The Villages, FL

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

I often drink coffee in the morning to give me a boost & to start the day nice :-), I always choose the classic roast (of another brand) coz it's much better especially when i am adding other flavors to it ...Then i decided to try the Maxwell French Roast for a change...To my surprise, i really liked it...i enjoy the fresh, rich Arabica flavor and the wonderful aroma....It wakes me up in the morning perfectly.... I also like that even when i drink the leftover coffee, the taste is still great. What's more, it is priced reasonably compared to other brand...For coffee lovers out there, i suggest you try this flavor and enjoy the great taste for yourself!

Best Dark Roast coffee you can buy for the price!

    By

    from Bloomington, IN

Comments about Maxwell House French Roast Coffee:

I've been a coffee drinker for many years. I've tryed most of the brands and many of the beans flavored and unflavored. Now that coffee has skyrocketed price wise I need to find one I could afford, but being the coffee snob I am it had to be a good dark roast. That's when Maxwell house can out with the new blends. I've tryed the master blend, did'nt like it. Tryed the dark roast not that great. Tryed the colombin much better. Then the French Roast, I was extremely suprised! It was fresh, dark ,bold, and most of all priced ok. Ive been drinking it ever since. I do of corse, buy some bags of good whole beans here and there. I found also you can buy good beans grined them up and mix it with the Maxwell house and that works great to. Makes both last longer. Hope you find this works for you! Thanks
