Every year when we go camping the biggest gripe is with the coffee drinkers with the camping coffee perculators and all the grounds that get into the coffee.

We have a friend that is a "Buckhorn" (shows and lives how the first settlers lived and survived off the land) and loves to rough it except with his coffee and showed us Maxwell House Filter Packs.  Ground coffee in nifty sealed filters.  They fit perfect where you normally put the lose ground coffee in the peculator and no worries of eating your coffee grounds.

My husband was amazed, not only with the filter packs, but with the taste too. The container comes 10 packs to a container and covers the camping group just perfect for the weekend.

Much easier then taking a regular coffee filter and poking a hold in the middle to fit the stem that comes up where coffee goes. Just tuck it in and have coffee you don't need chew. Each pack makes four to six cups of coffee (great for the camping coffee pot). They also can be used in regular coffee pots, Two filter packs will make eight to 12 cups of coffee.

Maxwell House Filter Packs ground coffee is a winner in our camp ground.  You can find this coffee located in the coffee section of your favorite store.

It's a winner!

We need these. I don't drink coffee but my husband does and he hates the grounds that get through.

In response to JazzSinger's comment from Jul 19, 2008 at 6:48AM:

I believe I spent around $6 for the 10 pack container which is pricey for 5.3 ozs compaired to a pound of ground for around $7. Thus is why this is just the camping coffee : )

That looks like a good idea, but what is the cost compared to buying an equivalent amount of "loose" coffee?
