Fans of the Sim City series will love Maxis Sim City 4, a unique gaming experience for kids of different ages and adults, too. Reviewers love this game site because of its great gameplay, excellent features, and superb graphics. Maxis Sim City 4 offers “Great and Fun Games for All Ages” and it has gotten even better over time, as one reviewer indicates in the comment “Improved Simulated Fun”. Maxis Sim City 4 is criticized a little bit, and its tendency to be boring at times as well as the need for a good graphics card are two small complaints made by members. I bought this for my daughter. I think I play it more than she does now!
I've always been more of a shoot'em up, go fast, conquer the world kinda guy, but SimCity 4 Deluxe has kinda gotten hold of me and I just can't quite figure out why. Maybe it's the challenge of building a city with 1,000,000+ citizens that actually continues to grow and prosper while keeping the denizens happy, healthy, wealthy, and well educated.
Then again it could be a control freak kinda thing. d;-)

Are you a fan of the Sim City series? Do you wish that it'll never end? If these questions sound familiar, Sim City 4 is probably the simulated city software you've been waiting for. With its improved gaming features, including user driving sequence, great graphics, and extra attributes, you'll be able to delve into a city of your own creation and have fun doing it. Take it from me, a 12-year Sim City user! Whether you already own the other great gaming products by Maxis, including other Sim City versions, you'll love Sim City 4!
I have been an avid Simcity 4 player since it became an excellent game for the PC. I used to play it on Windows XP, but now I am using Windows 7 and I keep getting the error on start that says "cannot initialize Direct Draw......bummer, I cannot play it.

Decent gameplay and can be addictive at times however the novelty wears off soon, Greatly improved from simcity 3000 but still lags behind competition. At $20 dont buy.
