Makes some things easier, but other things tougher

Comments about Maximatic EPB1700 Elite Handheld Blender:

This Elite Cuisine Personal Drink Mixer is basically what is known as the Magic Bullet often seen in Television Infomercials.  While I do feel like it makes some things easier in the kitchen, it also makes other things just as easy or even more difficult at times.

To make a milk shake, simply put some ice cream & some milk into the cup & push the cup into the blender a couple times to mix & blend.  So simple!  Clean-up is a breeze too since all the parts come apart & can be put into the dishwasher.  For a milkshake, this seems easier than having to reach in & clean the blades at the bottom of a regular sized blender.  This is also really nice because you can make one serving at a time.  No need to clean out a big tall blender for a single serving of a milkshake!  I also find it useful if you want to make different flavored milkshakes.

Now the "not-so-easy" part.  I LOVE to add diced vegetables to pretty much anything,  When they're diced small, you get that added veggie intake for the day without even realizing it.  The thing I didn't like about this was you can only put in a little bit of vegetables at a time without having everything stick to the sides & therefore missing the blade.  It's often quicker to chop things with a knife rather than having to keep cleaning out the cup.

Like they say...There are pros & cons to everything!!
