I bought a pair of these headphones to replace a pair of koss they looked good but the sound is not impressive for a pair of full-sized headphones it is clear and not distorted but it is mostly mid-range it lacks low-frequency (below 80 hz) and very high frequencies (above 12khz) is where it begins to lack performance they sound these output is more comparable to a cheap pair of open-ear headphones you find at family dollar i was also very dissapointed with the volume control included on it if you turn it down it only turns one of the earphones down unless you set it all the way down so it's basically useless also i found the mono-stereo switch very stupid because for no reason in the entire world would someone want to listen to something in mono another thing i found irritating was the earcups make your ears hurt and can be very painful after about an hour wearing them these headphones are really something to avoid and from my experience avoid any headphones made by maxell always have had a bad experience

Honestly if your looking for very good headphones at a low price buy koss they are amazing i've had alot of headphones from them and have always been impressed
