When I first brought opened box containing my **Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipcolor** in two different colors I thought that they were definitely not "me." The one color in the tube appeared to orange and the other two red. So, I put them away, untouched and unused for a lipstick "rainy day," you know the day when your favorite lipstick is gone and you really need something to wear. Who knows maybe in the winter the red color could be salvaged or maybe my teenage daughter would love the lighter color. And that's exactly what happened. She borrowed the light colored one and it looked so good on her I decided to try it myself. It's beautiful! I light coating of lipstick that is so smooth and soft on my lips. **Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipcolor** doesn't dry my lips out like many other lipcolor's do. The color is perfect for just a little color every day, and compliments my sun kissed skin making it seem like I am not wearing any make up at all. I wish it was a long wearing lipstick, I hate having to reapply it several times over the course of the day. It is about the same price as most other drug store lipsticks and it does last longer than say the Jane Lipsticks or Revlon - but not as long as long wearing lip color. What I like best about **Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipcolor** is the soothing soft lips I get with this lipstick and the natural look and color.

I have bought Max Factor products before and was expecting to love this new one but, unfortunately the Vivid Impact Lip Color fell short of my expatiations.  The shades range from bright purple #52 Romp to bright red #36 Ablaze with beige-nudes in between.    The color I bought was  #8 Sweet Tart, a pinky-coral shade.  My real problem with this product is it does not stay on.  It just seems to wear away.  I am taking into consideration, this is not touted as "long wear" but I think lip color should stay on longer than this product does.  I am not talking about putting this product on and having a eating binge, this was put on in the morning, and the only activity on  that day was computer work. I did  test  this product over the course of several days, and the results were the same. Sorry Max Factor, but  I would not buy this product again.
