Even though I prefer to use eyeliner pencils and liquid eyeliner when I wear make up I still have to use some kind of mascara; I tried this when it was on sale and the results were a little better than I expected but I still need something for my lashes. I like to have thick lashes but if I use more than two coats of most brands I end up with clumping. That also makes it a little hard when you try to remove it at the end of the night. I would recommend Lash Perfection to people who wear contact lenses because I never had a problem with it flaking off or getting in my eye when I wore it but to try to get extremely thick lashes with this usually results in clumping. If you try to use an eyelash comb to separate the lashes before the mascara dries you might be able to separate them but most of the time it just made it worse. The applicator brush is easy to work with but I had to clean it off almost every time that I used it; if I didn't take the time to clean it then I would get clumps on the first coating. This isn't what I would call perfect but it is close if you are only using one coat or want something to darken lighter eyelashes but for extreme volume there's a chance that you are going to be disappointed with Lash Perfection's performance.

The ONLY mascara I will ever use. I have sensitive eyes and have tried every brand on the market, including others by Maybelline, and this particular brand, Lash Perfection, is the only one I can use that makes my lashes look great and doesn't make my eyes itch or turn red.

I was thoroughly disappointed with this one. I mean it was OK, but so not worth it. Definitely not one I would recommend. So average or maybe below average is what I'm looking for. Well in other words there ae so many better mascaras out there. This one runs, it gives you those not so lovely racoon eyes. Plus it just doesn't really do much for you lashes. I haven't tried any other Max Factor products, but I don't think I'll be trying any more any time soon. Max factor Lash Perfection Mascara. It really doesn't volumize or lengthen to anything worth noting. It's just your basic, cheap, average mascara when it really comes down to it. Nothing special about this one. I would recommend Cover Girl Eyelights though. That one actually does everything it claims and more and is just a genuinely good mascara unlike this one that really doesn't do anything much and is not worth the money by any stretch.

This is the best...I have tried MANY products over the past few years, and this is the best by far...it dosent clump, and it lasts all day.  It is much better than the "pricey" depatment store mascara.

My quest for the perfect mascara ended when I found this product.  I almost felt like the clouds should part, the sun shining down, with a chorus of Allelujah in the background. OK, maybe not QUITE so dramatic.  But after trying approximately 1,458 different types of mascaras, I have found THE one.  Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara (preferably the waterproof formula).  It thickens, lengthens, and darkens my eyelashes without clumping or flaking.  It is in large part due to the innovative rubber brush, which other companies have tried to duplicate without success.  I have received numerous compliments when I wear this (never before has anyone commented on my mascara), and even strangers have asked me what I use.  It's a little weird when people do that, but at the same time, I have found a keeper!  I hate to admit it, but I have commitment issues when it comes to makeup.  I could find the most perfect thing and think that there is something better out there.  So I abandoned Lash Perfection for a brief flirtation with Diorshow mascara, after reading about its greatness in my beauty mags.  It paled in comparison to the Lash Perfection, in spite of the fact that it costs three times more!  Fortunately, Lash Perfection took me back.  And we have been happy together ever since.
