Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara Review

I admit, any mascara would have a tough act to follow after using Lancome Mascara   But just as my Lancome was running out Bzzagent  came to the rescue with the Max Factor campaign.  I was so excited as mascara was on my list of purchases to make. My Max Factor kit came with two lipsticks and the Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara.

 My Viewpoint:  Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara was an exciting free sample to try, especially since it was full size.  I have $2.00 off coupons if anyone else wants to try (expire in June 2009) just message me.  The mascara in black is thick and full. The first few days I used Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara I thought it was ok, but the fullness of the brush as well as the thickness made it difficult to apply.  After about 4 days, I actually had an allergic reaction to the mascara but a minor one.  I took a couple of days off and decided to try it again (I was traveling so many things could have caused the reaction).  After using Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara  again I haven't had any more reactions but I am being cautious in my application just in case.

The applicator brush is difficult to use, even after a month of use I still don't quite have the hang of it and end up smearing mascara during application.  Because the brush is so large it is awkward to use.  It holds up well for the most part during the hot and humid Houston day, but it does eventually end up smudging. It quickly coats my lashes and only takes a couple of sweeps with the brush to get the lashes covered and long looking. Even a little thicker.

Over all  Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara is pretty good. It's better than most drug store brands but not as good as the department store ones.  The price is actually quite reasonable since many other drug store brands do less and cost more.
