Mattel Hot Wheels: Wild Things 5 Car Gift Pack Review

I have two sons ages nine and six who absolutely love Hot Wheels cars.  They must have literally hundreds and can never seem to get enough.  For Christmas, "Santa" bought my youngest son the Mattel Hot Wheels: Wild Things 5 Car Gift Pack for $5.99.  It is one of his favorite sets of cars still today.

The Set of Cars 

Hot Wheels are die-cast model vehicles manufactured by Mattel and were introduced in 1968.  The ultimate in trains, planes and automobiles, this 5-pack features outrageous vehicles in fun colors. Includes a plane, locomotive, two race cars and a motorcycle. 1:64 scale. 

Recommended Age: 3-6 years

My Experience

My son thought this Mattel Hot Wheels: Wild Things 5 Car Gift Pack was awesome.  The plane is really futuristic looking and the train is very colorful. The two race cars and the motorcycle are "very cool", my son said.  He plays with this durable set often.  There are no signs of wear and tear and are all in perfect working condition.

My Final Viewpoint 

I trust the Mattel name and Hot Wheels has been a staple in our home since my first son was born.  I do recommend this set and am giving it a 5 star rating.
