Mattel Games Apples to Apples Review

Apples to Apples is one of the most fun games I have ever played.  It involves two types of cards: red cards with nouns on them, such as "Madonna" or something as simple as "mud" and green cards with a descriptive word on it.  Each player is given seven of the red cards.  There is a different judge chosen for each round, usually the group just alternates through a circle.  The judge picks up a green card and reads the word on it, along with the synonyms for it.  Each player, not including the judge, picks one of their red cards they think goes best with the green card.  They put it face down in a pile in the middle of the table.  The judge then looks through the red cards and picks which one they think is the best.  Some of the red and green card combinations are very amusing, which is what makes it a fun game.  The person who put down the selected red card gets the green card.  The players have to accumulate a certain number of green cards to win.  The number depends on how many players there are.  This game is perfect if you have a group of friends around with nothing to do.  I could play this game for hours it is so much fun!
