Potty trainig my son, we were thrilled when he FINALLY went "poop" in the potty. If you're a parent, you'll understand the language! Anyway, he decided to celebrate that he wanetd to spend his "potty bucks" on Flo's Cafe.
After driving to Toys R Us, we walked right now, found it and walked back out. It runs about $30, so this isn't the cheapest toy on the block. My son was thrilled.
Assembly
Assembly is a bit more complicated than I thought. Once I sat down and looked at it, it took maybe 5-10 minutes, including 2-3 minutes of trying to find AAA batteries. Putting the stickers on was a bit tricky, but I think my son's eagerness to use it was the most.
How It Works
This little building can be used in many different ways - you can spin them around in the building, shoot them out with a slingshot fashion, get them into the top section, watch the flashing lights, etc. It's pretty darn impressive. There's really no way you can use it incorrectly. As long as you have fun, you're using it correctly.
What I Don't Like
For one, it's hard to turn the lights on and off. It's positioned under a knob to sling shot cars out, which is unfortunate because it makes it difficult to easily turn off. That little knob also has a tendancy to pop off when you turn off the lights. Not very fun.
This is not a durable product. I can't say this enough. It's flimsy, and you can feel it when you put it together. While ours has survived numerous beatings and droppings (by some miracle it still works), the truth is that the quality is seriously lacking. For $30, I expect better quality.
Also, it's worth nothing that there are a LOT of little parts. If you have small children, this isn't the toy for you.
Overall
Your Disney/Pixar Cars lover will love you dearly for getting this. It's straight from the movie and perfect for any room or Radiator Springs set up. You may be disappointed with the quality, but I assure you that your child will love this product!
