Mattel 14" Lightning Mcqueen Car Review

My 6 year old son received the Mattel Cars: 14" Lightning McQueen Lights and Sounds Vehicle as a Christmas gift this last Christmas.  He is a big fan of the hit Disney/Pixar movie, Cars and his favorite character is Lightning McQueen.  Needless to say he was thrilled when he got this!

• Authentic vehicle sounds
• Voice that "brings him to life"

My Experience

This bright red, 14 inch, plastic Lightning McQueen vehicle lights up, moves, makes sounds and even talks.  When he talks, it sounds just like the character from the movie which my son thought was cool.  The car doesn't go automatically and needs to be pushed by hand but that doesn't seem to phase my son.  He enjoys pushing it all around the floor as the lights and sounds are going off.  I like that the toy came with batteries included and when they do need replacement, it will only have to be two AA's.  We have had this car for about 7 months now and it has been used quite a lot, taking some bangs and bumps along the way.  It looks brand new and still works perfectly.

My Final Viewpoint 

This Mattel Cars: 14" Lightning McQueen Lights and Sounds Vehicle is a great toy that my son adores.  The lights and sounds make this car fun and keeps my son's attention.  If you plan on purchasing this item, be sure to shop around because it is selling online anywhere from $17.99 up to $36.99.  I recommend this vehicle and give it a well deserved 5 star rating.
