Biolage Scalp Therapie Cooling Mint Shampoo is expensive but worth the money. You can stretch your money spent on this product because a little bit of this shampoo goes a long way towards cleansing your tresses. The scent is fabulous. I do not drink coffee so anything that will help wake me up in the morning gets two thumbs up. The mint smell is noticeable all day long yet it is not overpowering. I have yet to have a person tell me that the smell is obnoxious and have had at least one hundred people ask me what brand of perfume I am wearing. They all end up being shocked when they find out that it is in fact a shampoo. I think that the only thing that would make this shampoo better would be if someone else was massaging my scalp so I could truly enjoy the aromatherapy experience. My hair feels soft and manageable due to this product. I highly recommend trying this shampoo if you are looking to spoil yourself a little bit.

I purchase Biolage Scalp Therapie Cooling Mint Shampoo mainly because the name screamed to me to try. Immediately as I lathered the shampoo into my hair my scalp began to have a tingling sensation. The shampoo made my scalp feel like it was refreshed and regenerized. The smell of the shampoo was minty, clean, and awakening. The shampoo rinsed nicely out of my hair leaving light, feeling healthy, smooth, and shiny hair. I like to use this product especially after I have had my hair up in a ponytail for an extended period of time. My scalp typically gets sore from leaving hair up and when I wash my hair with the shampoo it makes my scalp feel refreshed. Biolage cooling mint shampoo makes you feel like you are having a spa day at your house; between the refreshing smell and the stimulation of the scalp. Using this shampoo at bed time really relaxes me. Effectiveness Makes hair feel smooth and refreshed. The scalp tingles on contact and then regenerizes. Scent The smell is clean, refreshing, and minty.

I received this shampoo as a gift from my hair stylist after I had been complaining that my sensitive scalp was sore. She gave me this to try and told me it really worked. She was definitely not wrong. I have never actually tried a shampoo that was supposed to help my sore scalp, but this one definitely does just that. It cooled my sore scalp and the feeling lasted most of that day. Sometimes, I would just sit and bask in the feeling for a couple minutes. I really enjoyed it. This shampoo made my hair smell very nice too. It was a very subtle minty scent that I really liked. Also, this shampoo made my thin hair feel fuller and it looked a lot shinier after using it. The only issue I had with the shampoo was the cost. I could not purchase it again because it was too expensive when combined with the price of going to the hair stylist. Although, it is a shampoo I would welcome again as a gift from anyone who wants to purchase it for me!

I have a hard time sticking to one shampoo but every time I went to the salon to get my hair done I noticed such a big difference in my hair. I asked what type of shampoo they were using and it was this! I have long, thick, frizzy, wavy hair. This shampoo really helped calm my hair down, leaving it smooth and straight feeling without having to add anything else to it. My hair felt refreshed, a nice tingling feel when using it. Overall, this shampoo will give you salon results and is priced I'd say middle of the line for other competitive shampoos on the market. Effectiveness Really helped to calm my hair down. It really gave me that soothing feeling. It really was a good therapy shampoo for my damaged hair. Scent Love the scent! This is my favorite smelling shampoo. It has a nice refreshing mint scent to it. It is rather strong when you first use it, but it starts to fade to be a lighter scent after your hair drys. The scent does stay throughout your day.

I have extremely thick and long hair, and it has always been a chore to find products that work for my hair, let alone enhance the feel and manageability of my hair. I noticed a difference the very first time that I used this product. It has a thick and creamy consistency, and is very easy to work through hair. I leave it in for about 3 minutes, during which it gives a cooling and tingling sensation to my scalp. I find this little extra extremely nice on hot days or when I need to cool down quickly. When you rinse it out, it doesn't leave a film or residue, but your hair feels silky and smooth. My hair gets very tangly when I get out of the shower, but after using this conditioner there was significantly less tangling, and it took me half the time it usually takes me to brush my hair. It has a light minty smell that even my husband likes, as he uses this as well. I don't usually get excited over shampoos and conditioners, but I feel that the Biolage ScalpTherapie Mint Conditioner is worth the extra cost and all the praise. I highly recommend this conditioner. Effectiveness Works extremely well, does not leave residue or film! and helps with detangling. Scent Light minty scent that is not overpowering.

I am reviewing Biolage Matrix scalp therapie shampoo.  I received a very convincing review of this product while in a beauty supply store.  I have dry hair and this bottle says "balances  normal to oily hair", and "will not dry the hair" the sales person convinced me it would moisterize my hair. I did believe the sales person.  I did not thoroughly read the bottle so I did not realize it balances normal to oily hair.   One of my main points in this review is to make sure you read the bottle versus just listening to the sales person.  After reading the bottle you can ask questions but to take the sales person's viewpoint blindly will possibly compromise your personal hair needs. This shampoo says it is dermatologist tested for safety which is a good point.  For a person who has normal to oily hair this product might work fantastically.  For me, with dryer hair, this shampoo has not decreased my dryness.  It is difficult to decide what might work without trying the product.  I wish they would either give away or sell samples to try, then we can purchase with more wisdom.

The Biolage Cooling Mint Shampoo is an adventure every morning. As soon as you lather the soap into your hair it will begin a subtle tingle advancing the more you scrub to a real cool feeling all over you head. The pleasing sent of mint fills the bathroom and stays with your hair all day. The shampoo leaves my hair soft and manageable with a light sent of mint all day. It is one of the more expensive brands but worth it. It does more to wake me up than my alarm clock.

I received this item when I purchased the Allure summer pack back in 2008.  I had never tried or even heard of it before so I was interested to try it.  Although I was used to peppermint foot creams and such, I had never thought of trying it in shampoo.  I'm very happy that I finally did.  The mint smell in the shampoo isn't overwhelming as I had first expected, which was good because I didn't want to smell like I had spilled Listerine on my hair.  It was subtle, but what wasn't was the cool menthol feeling I felt on my scalp.  It was refreshing and I couldn't help but just sit in the hot summery weather room and go "oohahh.."  It felt even better when there was a breeze.  Now whenever it becomes very hot I take a shower and use that specific shampoo, only for that purpose!  That shampoo quality itself seems to be decent.  It lathers well and cleans without leaving any residue, while not leaving my hair brittle and dry either, like how some harsher shampoos do.  All in all, I'm satisfied with this shampoo.

I bought this shampoo, initially becasue it was the only product on sale! I love my salon shampoos and conditioners but I also cringe at the prices on some of the products. I started using the shampoo and conditioner, and at first wasn't over whelmed, but now that I have been using it for several weeks, I've noticed that my hair is shiner and has more volume. In fact over the last few weeks I have gotten more compliments on how beautiful and shiny my hair it.
