Liz Lange blouse

Liz Lange blouse

This is such a cute blouse! I found this black Liz Lange maternity blouse on sale at Target and really loved the way it looked. It is a tank top style, but the straps have a twist in them creating a unique look to the top and the front is a plunging 'v' that allows the top to be a bit sexy or can be worn with a cami underneath for more modesty. The 'V' narrows down into a diamond shaped piece of fabric that is gathered all around. This gives the extra fullness needed for a growing tummy as pregnancy progresses. The fabric is very soft and flowy and comfortable and has thin string ties in the...

Medela breast pump

Medela breast pump

I tried other pumps, electric and hand versions.  This one by far raised the bar on breast pumps.  You can do both breasts at once or one at a time with this pump.  You can adjust the suction for your optimum comfort level.  The case is very sleek and black leather so that it would be easy to carry to and from work or anywhere for that matter.  It has a built in thermalized section so that you can have your freezer packs in there and store the bottles till needed or til you get to a freezer.

Medela Pump in Style

OK, so I have had one of these before, more then 10 years ago, so I was biased to start with. But what could have changed in 10 years? I mean- it's a PUMP - what can change? I was wrong. Where to start. . . . .

Bonus 1 - The case is the same, basic black, but now, you can take everything out of it and clean it. Did I mention you can take everything out of it? That means you can assemple it back whatever way works for you. You can even transfer it into a regular back pack and disguise it.

Bonus 2 - the pumping now mimics a nursing child better. Know how when they start out, they are going for the...

Lansinoh Lansinoh - Lightweight Double Electric Breast Pump System

Lansinoh Lansinoh - Lightweight Double Electric Breast Pump System

This breast pump was not among the cheapest, however, it wasn't the most expensive either.  It was an amazing pump.  It wasn't extravagant.  It didn't have all the "bells and whistles" that some pumps offer, but it did what it was supposed to do and it did it well.  I could pump about 6-10 oz from both breasts within a 15 minute session.  I carried it to work with me everyday, so it had to be light weight.  All it was was a little 8x5 (approximately) inch box with tubes, flanges, and bottles.  It was perfect for the working mother.  It was easy to set up and use and very durable.  I threw...

Evenflo Manual Breast Pump Kit

Evenflo Manual Breast Pump Kit

NOV

2009

I was exclusively breast feeding for about 6 weeks, but wasn't making enough milk. So I decided to try a breast pump to increase my milk supply. Since money was tight, we decided to try the Evenflo Manual Breast Pump, since it fit the bottles we were using (Evenflo glass bottles). This Kit was about $25 dollars, came with a manual pump, i think 2 collection bottles (4oz, plastic), 2 different shields for the pump (for comfort adjustments) a carrying case, and an instruction manual. Like I said, you get what you pay for. The product worked, but it was hard work, and it was not easy to use. I ended...

I used this pump for each of my 3 children. It was more thatn I ever expected. It was effecient, with the carry all tote it came with made it soo extremely easy to take with you and pump when ever and where ever you may need. It also was very descete no one knew you were carring your breast pump it looks like a diaper bag or purse. This was so easy to use and it also came with the bottles to store with a cooling case. It is so practicle. You will not be sorry with this item. I absolutely loved it.

Gerber gerber breast pump

the gerber breast pump is very expensive and for the price it's not worth it.I bought one for my last child and used it about a month and the suction started to wear out and the spring in the handle broke.i called the eight hundred number and told them about it. I still had the receipt. they told me to send it in with the receipt and they would replace it.I waited about six weeks and called. They said they never received it. In my opinion this is very bad service. I was told there was nothing they could do about it. The pump is around thirty dollars. Not to mention  you have to buy replacement...

EPT Error Proof Test.

EPT Error Proof Test.
A woman, a woman

NOV

2009

The Error Proof Pregnancey test I think is the best that you can buy if you really want to know for sure, no mistakes about it if you are pregnant or not. I like the way it clearly shows one line if you are not pregnant and two lines if you are. It is a little more expensive than the early pregnancy test and other brands but it is worth the extra cash that you put into it. It only takes one to five minutes to give you your results when other test take up to ten minutes. Other tests if you move them or miss the stick then it will give you a false reading. Not the Error Proof Test, That is what is...

Udder Covers Udder Covers breastfeed cover-up

Udder Covers Udder Covers breastfeed cover-up
pro-breastfeeding, practical, a woman, married

NOV

2009

Udder Covers SEEMS like a nice "breastfeeding cover-up" - - it has a plastic rim so you can look down and a fancy little O-ring to fasten the apron around you. But the truth is, Udder Covers are cheap. The material is nigh on see-through. I could buy a yard of the stuff for $3 and sew one for myself on a $10 budget. The $32 price tag is extreme to say the least. Especially when there are brands out there like "Bebe Au Lait" which is much thicker, better quality fabric and also comes with a handy terry cloth corner to wipe your baby's face when all is said and done. No more rummaging through your...

first response First Response Early Pregancy Test

The first response early pregnancy test was a great value for the money!! It was reliable and worked as early as it said it would.  It was easy to read and there wasn't any question about the results.  It was a clear line to see (or no line depending on the case).  The pack I purchased came with an extra test for free - I really appreciated the value for the money that you get with First Response.  I was also drawn to their TV advertising...it was very informative and I could definitely relate to the woman doing the advertisement.  I highly recommend this test to anyone, especially women that...

Evenflo Breast Pump with travel case

Evenflo Breast Pump with travel case

This evenflo breast pump is okay but if you are planning to nurse and store this would not be a good breast pump because it will make your nipples sore the very first time use it to the last time use it. They could work on the sucking adjust it suck but if you turn it down to a adjustment that don't pull that hard then it want pump out milk.

NOV

2009

While I was pregnant with my first child, I was told over and over that breastfeeding was the absolute best thing I could do for my baby so I was determined to breastfeed him when he was born.  When I came home form the hospital after his birth, I found that breastfeeding was not as easy as it seemed.  It was exhausting and my breasts were very sore, and even had blisters for a few days.  My baby was losing weight and I could barely bring myself to feed him becaue it was so painful.  Several people in my life suggested that I try using a lanolin creme to keep my breasts from getting cracked...

Clearblue Easy Pregnancy Tests

Clearblue Easy Pregnancy Tests

I have been trying to conceive for a couple years now. I always rely on ClearBlue Easy Read pregnancy tests. They are so accurate and easy to read. I always recommend them to all of my friends and family.

They are so fast with the answer...about five minutes, and the answer is right there in words. No lines to look at. No colors to compare. Just a simple "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant.

I recommend using the Clearblue Easy Read pregnancy test to anyone who needs to take one.

Bravado Original Nursing Bra

Bravado Original Nursing Bra

NOV

2009

I have four of these bras in different colors and wore them (along with 3 nursing tanks) daily for two years.  they have stood up pretty well to that much use.  There is some sag in the cups and they are starting to get a little sheer, but still comfy.  Since they ARE all cotton, they have lasted much longer than expected! These were especially great in the early nursing stages. they are so giving and comfy.  they are also easy to open and close with one hand (when you're doing it constantly, that is a definite plus!).  Mine had two styles of closure, snaps and plastic tabs.  The snaps were...

Bravado Essential Nursing Bra Tank

NOV

2009

I went shopping for nursing bras when i was still pregnant, which i would recommend everyone do.  I found a store with several brands and styles, bravado was by FAR the most comfortable for me.  The release was a little tricky at first to operate one-handed, but always felt real secure and practically noise-free!  I have three of these tanks and 4 of the bras and wore them daily for two years.  The tanks have stood up very well to daily wear (sometimes night wear too).  the elastic is still nice and strong, and there is no sag in the cups (which has happened to the bras)  they are a nice...
