I went through a divorce 4 years ago and I immediately jumped into dating... rebound thing I guess. I tried several of the dating websites and they were all about the same. I signed up for Match.com and browsed a bit, but this was about the time I was realizing I should take some time for myself. I deleted most of my online dating accounts and took care of *ME*! I had forgotten about Match.com, but Match.com did not forget about me! I received an e-mail one day saying I had a match and an e-mail from this match. I logged in and checked out the profile and read the e-mail. The e-mail was from this handsome guy who had similar interests (He's a Paramedic and I am an EMT) and he just happened to live only 35 miles from me! Who knew!?!!?!? And, as they say, the rest is history! We have been dating now for over two years and our wedding is set for September 19, 2008! Thanks to Match.com, the love of my life found me!

On a technical note, I always found the site to be very easy to navigate and I never felt like my personal information was at risk. They send "e-mails" through their server so your personal information is not released unless you decide to give the other person your info. Match.com never reveals your personal information. Their pricing is also very reasonable. I actually never paid to use the site. I can't quite remember, but females might be free... I'm kinda fuzzy on that detail... it has been over 2 years afterall! But my fiance paid $19.95, found me, and said it was worth every penny and then some!
