2007
I had the opportunity to wakeboard behind a 2007 X2 this past summer. As my first experience I have to say that it was an amazing boat. Mastercraft is definately the industry standard. From sheer performance to unique design features, the X-series of Mastercraft wake boats cover their bases. From the "pickle fork" front end of the boat to the 300+ hoursepower engine, it has it all. The swivle board racks make it easier than ever to store your boards on the tower. The wrap-around seating provides a maximum usage of valuable space on the interior of the boat. It's equipped with a solid sound system and there is a remote on the ski step - it is a great feature. My favorite part of this boat is when you are being towed behind on a wakeboard. It effortlessly pulls you out of the water and is able to keep a seady speed very easily. The wake shape is rampy but doesn't throw you too hard. It is easier than ever to add a little more style to your grabs and height to your wake to wake airs. I hope to own one of these someday!
