Comments about MaryKay Subtle Tanning Lotion:

I have been plased with this product. I have no interest in tanning salons and this is a great alternative. I also trust mary kay. I have sensative skin and this product has given me no problems. It does tent to be too dark on the knees, but they can be avoided.

Mary Kay Subtle Tanning Lotion: The key word is subtle

Comments about MaryKay Subtle Tanning Lotion:

I recently put in a Mary Kay order to stock up on my Enriched Moisturizer and Beach Bronze lip gloss for summer.  I am a busy Mom and my fab MK consultant just mails my order right to my house. She always includes a sweet note, some candies and yes, some new samples to try.

This go round I was gifted with a 1.5 tube of Mary Kay Subtle Tanning Lotion.  I am leary of tanning lotions but much more leery of the sun exposure as a twelve year melanoma survivor.

        **Day one: **

My first impression was that the MK Subtle tanning lotion is a white lotion and actually goes on and absorbs easy.  It felt nice and moisturizing.  I really didn't feel the need for further lotion on my legs which is a plus.

There is a subtle scent that smells a bit like coconut.  This isn't a favorite scent for me but again it was subtle.

        **Day two:  **

I didn't really notice any color change but nothing scary like dirty looking ankles or orange knees.

        **Day three:  **

Even before I apply the lotion I notice the subtle color.  I like it.  A nice base tan look in a natural color.

        It's made in the U.S.A.

***My Viewpoint:  ***Mary Kay Subtle tanning lotion does work.  They key is "subtle."  It's not fast or dark but there are no draw backs either.  While the scent isn't my first choice, it's minimal and I do like the lotion as a lotion.  Oh if they could only combine this with a sunscreen.

MaryKay Subtle Tanning lotion, the feel and smell of the islands

        By

        from Colorado Springs, CO

Comments about MaryKay Subtle Tanning Lotion:

MaryKay's subtle tanning lotion is currently one of my favorite items! I have a travel size bottle that I keep in a MaryKay makeup bag (came with the lotion).

I was fearful that this lotion would go on then create awful tannish streaks on my skin after it dried and soaked in, and I was totally wrong. This lotion goes on smooth and not too thick. Its not goopy or oily like other leading brands, nor is it creamy and takes a while to soak in. It goes on evenly with a few strokes and soaks in fast for extremely smooth skin. The smooth skin doesn't wear off for a long time too!

A great thing about this lotion is that you can use it whenever you want and the smell is amazing!! MaryKays subtle tanning lotion smells like coconuts without being overpowering, it offers a mental mind trip to the islands for quite a few hours. There's no need to apply any other fragrances during the day and there's no need to worry about crazy streaks! This subtle tanning lotion is truly subtle but in the end it's a great product! I would definately get this product again.
