I loved how this product is. It puts on very easily and smoothly. I have severe acne and at points it makes me look like i don't have any at all. Their is a large amount that is given in this product and for the price you get an amazing amount. This is my go to product for every occasion its smooth and creamy which helps apply to the section that is necessary. . If your ever looking for a product that has a great amount and will help I would buy this in a heart beat.

I live my life on a budget but I set aside enough money in our budget every month for me and my three year old daughter to be able to do some girly things and buy girly products, like nail polish, lotions, and face creams. Obviously since she is only three years old she doesn't need acne treatments but I certainly do. I bought this one in the hopes that it would help my skin without being painful to use. I do not get acne every single day and I do not have severe acne that causes my face to always be covered in blemishes. I do however get tiny blackheads from time to time that most acne medications do not get rid of that easily or at all so I have tried many many acne treatments including medicinal prescription treatments to no avail. When I bought this one I was desperate but also convinced that this one would be another dud that didn't work for me. I only originally bought this one because the store was going out of business and this set was only a dollar and some change. I am so glad I bought it though because if I had not then I would still be struggling to get rid of my acne to this day, but instead I just use this set every few days and it keeps my pores minimal, clean, not oily, and dry enough that black heads do not form but not so dry that my skin is itchy or painful. It is a happy medium and it is perfect. One thing that I personal do not like is that one of the items in the set does not smell as nice as the rest of the products but that is only because it is different than the other ones. It is a thick mask type product that you put over the acne covered area for about twenty five minutes or so. It does not sting either unless you have been scratching or picking at the area and have open skin because then it will sting. It is thicker and has kind of a musty scent which only bothers me when I get a blackhead on or around my nose but other than that, that item is my favorite out of the whole set because it works amazingly and instantly. Love it!

I was given a bottle by a friend who is a Mary Kay consultant. I used it every day until it was gone. After it was gone I went back to more affordable products and got better results with them. Much of Mary Kay's merchandise is high-quality, but this one not so much. It feels gross and it doesn't help acne any more than regular hand soap does. My acne actually got worse while I was using it. It has no real use as far as acne prevention and treatment. It's slimy and leaves your skin feeling dirtier than when you started. Not worth a penny.

I guess it works wonders for other people, I saw no difference. I guess I just don't have the right acne problem or skin for this product? Effectiveness This product did nothing to keep my skin clear. Ease of Application Super easy to use! Just like every other face acne treatment out there, wash and moisturize. Convenience Not really convenient in that it's another step in the process in the bathroom every day. But convenient in that it's just another step that I was already doing. It isn't like you have to go out of your way to use it. Side Effects I didn't particularly like the moisturizer, I found that it made my skin feel weird, I think it was just so light that it felt like it was really doing anything in some places, and in others I feel more oily. But the places I was more oily weren't the places I was breaking out in. So I guess no adverse side effects, just unpleasant feeling skin for my preferences. Immediacy Well considering that it never actually worked for me, I would say immediacy was non existent.

The Mary Kay Velocity Skin Care System is excellent for teenagers. I am always constantly breaking out, whether it's on my nose or forehead because my face is so oily. After I use the Mary Kay care system, my skin feels so much clean and less oily. It just feels so refreshing and my face is smooth to the touch!

I think this cleanser came out as a competitor to Pro Activ. It's an acne fighting cleanser that I've used from time to time. I bought it at a Mary Kay party after trying a sample. I had some friends comment about how well they thought it was at clearing up their skin and thought I'd give it a try. I thought that it was a good cleanser. It washed away oil, dirt, and makeup easily. I don't know if it really prevented breakouts any better than other brands that I've tried. I thought it was just as good as a brand that you would buy in the drugstore (or walmart for that matter). In the end, I would say that I was happy with the product, but not the high price. I think you can get an acne wash from the store that would work just as well, and not have to spend as much money. I tried it once, and was relatively happy with it - but I wasn't ready to buy another tube when it ran out - I was just as happy with other products I was already using.

I used this product quite frequently until I turned 30 and my hormones and skin tone started to change. It always kept my face feeling clean, norished and left it with a nice glow. It wasn't harsh and did seem to do a great job of preventing blackhead breakouts. As my skin started to age, this cleanser became less effective for keeping my skin bright and fresh. Which is not unexpected since this line is basically targeted at teens and younger users. If you have a daughter or relative looking for a good skincare line, I would highly recommend this to them. Effectiveness This cleanser provides a great overall clean feeling and does a fantastic job of making your skin feel refreshed. I rarely had black heads or breakouts related to my skin being clogged while using this product. Ease of Application It doesn't get much simpler then flipping the top open and squeezing it onto your hands or a washcloth. It is extremely easy to control the amount in each squeeze. Scent This has a sort of citrusy but generally very pleasant smell. It is enough that you get the scent but it isn't overpowering or lingering.

When I was a teenager, this was my go-to facial cleanser. I had a minimal amount of acne, but it definitely kept this at bay during the harshest times of the year on my skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I have to be careful of the products I use to ensure I don't get a rash or dry my skin out. One downside is the price, as it is much more expensive than I am currently willing to pay and have since switched to a less expensive facial cleanser. Effectiveness I found this to work really well at cleaning my teenage skin without drying it out. It didn't leave me shiny or my skin peeling. However, for more severe acne or more oily skin, I don't know Ease of Application This is a very easy product to use. The consistency of the cleanser is great for skin coverage and for also picking up the excess oil on the skin. Scent I found the scent to be somewhat feminine, and my male friends stayed away from using this product because of that, even though it is marketed as gender neutral. I like that it isn't too strong of a scent.
