Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine is actually used to slough off your skin and give you a fresh start. It is used about two to three times a week as a two step process to help give you younger skin. What shocked me is that it works for my acne!
After the first time trying it my skin felt very soft. It was strange how soft it felt after I had just scrubbed it what felt like to death! I work 12 hours so after this I applied step two and went to bed for about 7 hours. Upon getting up, I was shocked so see that my acne had gotten smaller or was completely gone! And this was only one application!
I have tried so many different acne treatments. Mostly over the counter, though I have tried the stronger ones from the dermatologist. I'm not a fan of the stronger ones because they are so hard on your skin; lately I have been trying differnet over the counter products to see if one would work. That can get very spendy!
The one downfall to this is that the two process set is expensive. I was lucky enough to receive it at half price from a friend to try. Once I did, however, I was hooked. Not only did it help my skin be softer and younger looking, but more importantly it kept my acne at bay! Now the only time I break out is around my time of the month when my hormones are out of control. That is something I can handle for a week to have three other weeks of clear skin!
I would recommend shopping around; you can get great deals for this on E-bay especially. But I truly does work and I am really excited and happy to share that. I love my Mary Kay product!
