Most HelpfulI am very impressed with Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set. The retail value of the set is $28, but it includes a 4-pc set and a carrying bag.
The Four Step Process of the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set
Most HelpfulMary Kay Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Pampering Set
The old Satin Hands set from years ago came in a white tube (remember that one?) and honestly I didn't like it. The scrub felt pasty and sometimes dried out my my hands. I didn't like the smell either. It supposedly had no smell but to me it smelled like cement. Yuck. I moved on.
I found the all new and much improved Satin Hands set by the sink at a friend's house and with her blessings used it. This one I liked a lot. Now I have my own.
The Satin Hands Pampering set comes with three products, the Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub,...
review »I received Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set for Christmas. I love 2 of the 3 products inside. The Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub cleanses and exfoliates. This product is heavenly. I was skeptical of a scrub for my hands but boy was I wrong in delaying. It's a nice everyday treat, which comes in a convenient pump, for hands and it leaves them really smooth and soft - actually instantly! The rest of the set includes an Extra Emollient Night Cream (my least favorite of the set because it's thick and greasy) and Satin Hands Hand Cream to condition and moisturize for hours (pretty...
review »I first heard about the Mary Kay Hand Set when I went to a party and to tell the truth, I ran out and miss it for real; I usually keep some but havent kept them together; While I used the product, my hands thanked me and I loved it completely. I highly recommend it; And in a pinch when the buffing cream is no out, check out Carol's Daughter Manicure in a Jar as a back up to it as well. Not to knock Mary Kay's set. but when worse come to worse, that would do as a great substitute. One thing that is a drawback is if you gotta go this takes a little time; So the best thing to do is to include it...
review »I've been using Satin Hands through several different "formulas" now. Originally I had one that was unscented, and had four steps, the greasy night cream, shower gel, scrubby and hand lotion.
Then there was the Terme d Isola scent, which was the same except the shower gel and scrubby were scented.
Now they have removed the shower gel from the package and changed the scent. I have to admit that I prefer the new scent over the terme d isola one, but I do miss my original unscented formulas.
Removing the shower gel has not had any effect on how well it works, I think the scrubby gets me just...
review »I have been using Mary Kay Satin Hands for years! I remember when it originally came out and you actually used sugar mixed with the Mary Kay night cream to exfoliate the skin on your hands! Now, of course, it is a much more advanced system that uses state of the art products to produce that smooth finish and glow. My hands easily and immediately look about 5 years younger. Unfortunately my hands reveal my age worse than my face! The lotion used in the final step is also great by itself. I use it to remoisturize at the office or in the car. I keep it in my purse so it is always ready! ...
review »I LOVE this pampering set from Mary Kay. It is very simple- use the night cream and buffing cream and then the cleanser and lastly the lotion. It doesn't take very long and the results are amazing! I am a nail biter and have horrible cuticles- and it is amazing the results I have seen with my hands! My husbands drives heavy equipment and his hands are rough and dry right now. I had him try the set and he was amazed. He won't use it all by himself, but has asked if I can help him with that lotion stuff that helps his hands.
Another silly advantage is that my cat use to like attacking...
review »This product is wonderful!! Actually, it is beyond words at how great it makes your hands look and feel. The most impressive this is that your hands remain like satin for hours!! I have started using this product before work and my hands still feel great even after I wash them many, many times throughout the day! Actually, sometimes I use the buffing product to remove grime that soap at work wouldn't remove from around nails.
The product might seem a little expensive but it doesn't take much, so it lasts for a long time! The only draw back is that it does take a little time to do but...
review »I have been in love with Mary Kay's Satin Hands kit since the first time I used it over 5 years ago. It is a bit pricey, but so worth it. One kit has lasted me for years. Satin Hands takes a little more time and steps than a usual hand lotion, but that's because it's far better than your typical hand lotion. It's great for pampering yourself, friends, family members. I've also used it on my feet - make for a great mani/pedi. The scent is very light and clean - I actually wish it had more of a fragrance. Mary Kay's Satin Lips is also great and a great addition to a Satin Hands kit....
review »I tried this product once and was hooked. I love it, even my husband will hold still sometimes to let me use it on him :-) It is great for your hands during the winter and your feet during the summer.
This product is more expensive than typical lotion but it is not typical lotion. I have seen other 'comparable' products selling for 2 and 3 times as much. Plus if you make friends with your Mary Kay hook up they will let you know about sales and specials. It seems like every time I am about to run out it goes on sale again just in time for me to buy more.
