This is the only makeup remover I will use. I have tried Maybelline (the clear bottle with the pink cap, claiming to be oil-free), CoverGirl (the little white bottle which is so thick and liquidy) and countless others. I used to work retail in a drug store, so believe me when I say I've tried NUMEROUS different brands only to be disappointed over and over again. When I came across this makeup remover, I was very impressed by the effectiveness. I read a couple other reviews and was upset to see that some people thought it to be oily. They mentioned the two different layers and that it looked like oil and water in the same bottle. Let me explain because the two different layers serve a purpose. One layer is to remove regular makeup, while the other is specially designed to remove waterproof makeup. Before each use, you have to shake it up a little bit so as to combine the two layers, thus making it the most effective it can be. Also, as with ALL Mary Kay products, a little goes a long way! I cannot express the importance of this enough because if you're feeling like your face is greasy, then you must try using less. Also, unlike other higher quality brands, Mary Kay supports terrific causes. Buying these affordable and yet high quality products helps support a greater cause that's bigger than you or me. Check out www.marykayashcharitablefoundation.org to see how a skin care and cosmetics company is helping find more environmentally friendly solutions, financing cancer research and working to end domestic violence. If you would more information on any of these topics, I would love to discuss them with you.
