Mary Kay Oil Free Hydrating Gel is a great option for me, especially in the summer months. It is very light, and feels cool and hydrating. I have combination/oily skin, and the oil-free aspect of this product is great for me too. It is a little too light for me in the winter, when my skin becomes dryer and needs a little extra moisture. Because of this, I don't know that this would provide enough moisture for someone with very dry skin, but for combination or oily, I think this product is great. It is very gentle, with little to no noticeable fragrance, and has never irritated my skin in the least. It absorbs quickly, and provides hydration, but is not greasy or oily at all. I am acne-prone, and have had no issues with this contributing to breakouts at all. This product is similar to other light gel moisturizers, so if you like products of that type, this one does not disappoint.

This oil-free hydrating gel is the absolute best for combination to oily skin. It has a very cool, light texture to it. So, you don't need a lot when applying it to your face. The best part is that it feel amazing on your skin. I use it both morning and night and it is a must have for my skin regimen. It's just as important as brushing your teeth in my opinion. It doesn't clog your pores, and it works great for all seasons. I don't have to make any adjustments to my moisturizer throughout the year. I use this same jar all year round. Seriously, it is totally worth the money to buy it! If you really want a high quality moisturizer, I don't think you'll find a better cream. It doesn't leave your skin greasy feeling, either. It just feels wonderful and light (and don't forget to apply it to your neck). I have used MaryKay for years, and this is my absolute favorite product. Just find a consultant in your area and order through that person. You won't be disappointed at all.

No matter how tight the economy is, the Mary Kay Oil Free Hydrating Gel is a must have item!  I have compared it to Clinique's Intense Moisture gel, and Mary Kay wins hands down!  I like that the scent isn't strong or overpowering.  I have enough scented products, and too many scents simply fight with each other.  The gel glides on smoothly, completely, and is absorbed well on the skin - better then my Lancome lotions!  I especially love it for my face.  When my face is extra dry, this gives me an instant refreshing moisture boost - not tingly, but close to it.  My face just feels SO MUCH BETTER!  What makes it outshine Clinique's brands is it's longevity.  Mary Kay's brand just simply outlasts the more expensive ones!  My face is never oily, and I don't break out with this product.  The price isn't bad - much lower then department store brands.  Sure, it won't compare to Wallmart, but it'll outlast any of those.  A little goes a long way - one jar lasts me a good 6 months.  (Especially when I use it only once in a while - for my extra dry or stressed days.)

During the winter I find that my face gets really dry, even when I would apply lots of face lotion. I would try different brands, including the Mary Kay timewise, and my face would still be dry. I decided to try the Mary Kay Oil Free Hydrating Gel. It works great!! It has a very light feel to it, and really hydrates my face well. My skin would get flacky from being so dry, and now I do not have that problem. It makes my skin so soft without feeling oily. It does cost a bit much, but so far it is the only lotion I have found that works so the price is worth it to me. It does not have any kind of sunscreen protection, so if you are going to be outside you will need to apply a sunblock. Since it is more pricey I only use it in the winter and use the timewise with sunblock in the the spring and summer. And I know it has nothing to do with the product, but I really love the purple color and jar it comes it :)

I use this mostly at night. I usually end up putting too much on my fingers so I have a bunch left over. I moistuizes my skin like I want it to. The fact that it is a thick moisturizer means it goes a long way. Also, Mary Kay is high quality.
