The Mineral Powered Eye Shadows are awesome. They come in many great colors and seem to last a long time. They are lightweight and not greasy so they won't crease. A little bit goes a long way and stays on the eye throughout the day.

If you are looking at buying this eye shadow, I would recommend going with a cream eye shadow, gel shadow, stick eye shadow, one of the 'glimmer sticks', and not this. I do not like these. I usually love powder eye shadows, and am fine with them however... this one just was not good. I got like 5 or 6 of these when I got them. Yes I ended up taking them back. They were horrible. Not only is the whole new 'compact' idea horrible, because some of the magnets don't stick and fall out, the whole thing just makes everything more expensive and yeah. It's good because you can pick your own colors but other than that- it's ridiculous and just a way to make more money! The pigmentation: It's horrible. Colors aren't true- and they aren't even the color they show sometimes. Even finger swatches are different the color than their suppoised to be. The consistency/texture: Is even worse. They don't look smooth on your eyes, and they crumble, and fall, and weep and smear alla round on your eyes. They don't blend good at all either! They don't blend at all actually! The Lasting Power: The best part of this product- they will last longer. And when you put it on and the color morphs and looks disgusting- you get your remover and it won't come offL The one time you need it to stink, it actually turns out well. Bottom line: I will not recommend ever, and I will probably never buy again. I think I'd just rather not wear eye shadow at allL

I am a girl that loves her makeup! I can positively say that i am a girly girl and love trying different cosmetics and experimenting to see which ones are the best for my particular skin type. I am in at the, well, we will just say mature age where i want to lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles whenever i can and have smooth , glowing skin. I love the Mary Kay eye shadows as they have true,rich color and once applied don't glob up on my eye lids or hang around in the creases. Mary Kay eye shadow goes on smoothly and beautifully with lasting, stay put quailty that i want when choosing products. I have tried a wide variety of products that are out there and have foun this tobe one of the best around.

I have used many different eye shadows (haven't we all?), and I was a little wary when Mary Kay came out with the Mineral Eye colors. It felt like they were joining the mineral band wagon and moving away from an eye shadow line that had been really successful. The products are good -- not necessarily better than the old formula -- and if they are actually better for the skin in some way, that is a plus. The colors go on rather smoothly and are easily blended, which is a huge plus. They stay on all day, which is also a plus. There is a good variety of colors. So why does this not get a 5-star rating? The packaging. First, the mineral eye colors don't fit into the old case, so a new case had to be purchased. The larger compact really doesn't work well unless filled completely, so you need to purchase enough right away to fill it up. Second, because it is less creamy a product than others, I fel that it starts breaking up sooner than most, which makes me feel like I'm wasting a lot of the product because it breaks apart and falls out. So the product is one worth recommending, but the packaging falls short and detracts from the benefits.

I've tried a lot of eye shaddows and like many other products, I just preffer the Mary Kay brand. I love the quality of the product. This mineral eye shaddow is wonderful. Not only does it help improve skin, but compared to other eye shaddows, it stays on longer and is much more visable after applying it. I do reccomend the eye primer if you want it to last more than 5 hours. But even on it's own, it's a great product. There are a lot of beautiful colors that range from neutral to vibrant. But the best part about this product is that you don't have keep in on your eyes! If you buy a neutral shade it can also work as a blush and a bronzer and it still has the great skin replenishing minerals that the other products have. Think outside the box on this one. It's much cheaper than the blush and bronzers and more compact. You could even use some of it to tint your lip gloss. With the price of this item being so cheap I probably have about 15 differant shades I now own.

I'm usually the type of person that refuses to pay extra just to have a brand name on something, especially when it comes to things like cosmetics, but after trying Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color, I haven't looked back! At first it seemed like I wasn't getting much eye shadow for my money, but this stuff goes a long way and lasts forever! It seems to last just as long as other larger containers of eye shadow that I buy. The best thing about it though is the fact that it stays put better than other shadows. You can easily expect it to last all day without the need for any touch ups. It also has just the right amount of glitter to make it have a cute shimmer to it, without being too loud. Another really great thing is that they blend together really well. Mary Kay has a nice selection of colors available, so it isn't hard to find something that you like. I would highly recommend Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color to anyone looking to spruce up their look a little.

I have been wearing Mary Kay Mineral Eye Makeup for about a year and a half now, and I really LOVE it! The wear on the eye colors lasts! I have worn it all day and still like how it looks on my eyes! I rarely have to touch the color up! I also love the variety of colors that they carry! Some of my absolute favorite mineral eye make up colors are sweet plum, moonstone, silky caramel, spun silk, hazelnut, chocolate, vintage gold, and above all my absolute favorite color of them all is GRANITE! I can wear this color on its own or use it to create a bit more definiition with a brown or another color! I have blue eyes and it looks amazing, but I have noticed that it really is a truely universal color on any color eye! I love how the shadows go on so well and work in very easily. They are easy to work with and are affordable. They look small but last a long time for me! I have fallen in love with Mary Kay colors!

I love my Mary Kay Mineral Eye Colors! They have a huge variety of beautiful colors, they blend well, and they last a very long time. Also, if you purchase a color that doesn't work with your skin tone - they will accept a return or exchange it for you! They have both matte and shimmery colors - the matte colors go on very boldly so a little definitely goes a long way, and the shimmery colors have such tiny flecks of glitter that they add just the right amount of shimmer without making you look glittery and flaky. They have a very lightweight feel - not heavy or cakey at all. I have found that the eye shadows last a very long time so the cost is not prohibitive for me. The worst part is having to buy a compact to carry the shadows in. Because of the number of shadows that I have my consultant actually suggested that I purchase and use one of their display trays which saved me a lot of money. I purchased a small compact, which can hold up to 6 shadows, for when I travel. I think the best part of purchasing from Mary Kay is having a consultant to help with all of your needs.

I love the **Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color **because it is long lasting.  There is a huge choice of color to choose from.  I never have to reapply it at all throughout the day. It's smooth going on and ever "clumps" throughout the day.

This line is one of the nicest I have used. It goes a long way and has a wonderful sheen that is very sexy and exotic. I like that it has sparkle to it, more so than others I have used. It does have a tendancy to fall apart very easily, but that is avoidable if you use it carefully. The fact that a little goes a long way compensates for that fact. It comes in a closeable container so that helps also. I like the canary gold best, very sophisticated. blends well with other shades, so you can go for a smoky effect, or just use one color too. The mineral line is a very nice one by Mary Kay, and I would recommend it. Lots of choices colorwise, so you can mix and match to attain the right look for you. It does get in your lashes a little when you put it on, which is not a problem as long as you are wearing mascara and put it on AFTER you put your eyeshadow on. Looks great with eyelash lengthening mascara.
