I had a horrible reaction to the Mary Kay Microderabrasion Set! It is important to note that I do not have sensitive skin and have never had any trouble previously using lotions or cosmetics. The Refine step is incredibly abrasive and hard to rinse off. Even though I followed the directions exactly by only using the treatment every 3 days, this caused my skin a lot of trouble. The first couple of treatments were fine, but after about 2 weeks, my cheeks got very red and sore to the touch. I was having to use concealer on them to hide them! And oh my did it burn and sting any time I put ANY lotion or makeup on my skin. Knowing that people have different tolerances for products such as this, I gave myself time to completely clear up from the reaction. My cheeks were red for over a month. Once everything was finally gone, I stupidly tried to use it again. On my first time trying again, it instantly brought back my red cheeks and stinging. The Replinish step seemed completely useless. While it is supposed to replinish your skin after the treatment, obviously it did nothing for me. This step did nothing for me, good or bad. Also, no matter what the company, an at home microderabrasion is never going to be the same as a professional quality one. Rubbing abrasive material on your skin is not the same as the procedure you would get from a dermatologist. Get yourself a nice facial scrub and save your money on this to get the real deal.

I have really sensitive skin and acne. Unfortunately, I have always struggled with them. It is difficult for me to find skin products that work well for me and do more good than harm. Although I enjoy being pampered from time to time and have had microdermabrasion done by an aestitician, I LOVED doing Mary Kay's microdermabrasion at home! It is so easy and even though I know it's taking off the dead layers of skin, it isn't harsh or painful like it can be when it is done by a professional. I also achieve really great results when I use it! How can you go wrong? It's a way to help clean and renew your skin in the comfort of your own home at a fraction of the cost of going to a spa or dermatologist!

I have never had good skin. My skin is very dry and prone to acne-LOTS of acne. I tried the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion set at the request of a friend and have been amazed with the results! The set has two steps-and most Microdermabrasion at-home treatments only have the one exfoliation step. Step one is the scurrbing exfoliatio. it feels like gritty sand, but it doens't irritate my sensative skin and as long as you don't rub it in to hard, it feels REALLY good! Step tw is  serum that you put on after step one and it helps your skin return to it's normal PH level-ie reduces irritation and redness of the newly exposed skin. Using this product once per week has reduced my breakouts and smoothed my once-bumpy skin! The fine lines I had forming around my eyes have faded and it stops new breakouts in their tracks! I have also noticed any discoloration I had in my skin before is much more even-almost gone! I LOVE this product and my amazing MK consultant gives me discounts for being a loyal customer!

My mother in law is a big Mary Kay fan.  Me, I love lots of produsts and I am not brand loyal in any way.  She bought this for me 2 years ago, and I love it.  I usually go through a set every 8 months of so(a little goes a long way) part one is a microdermabrasion scrub you apply with your fingertips.  and before you believe its just another scrub, let me tell you how wrong that is.  its very fine, and get the circulation moving in your face.  it makes my skin so smooth and fresh, it feels like a spa treatment.  And the replenishing lotion to use after is devine! It is so light and smooth.  I believe it has some amazing illuminating properties too.  I use it about once a week(or more if needed) and  I feel like my makeup looks better and goes on better after using the system.  No cry or flaky spots in the winter, and just bright fabulous skin that needs little makeup in the summer months.  I think Mary Kay has really cornered the market on this product.  Nothing else I've tried compares.

I can't express how much I love Mary Kay's Microdermabrasion set!  It is so simple to use and so much cheaper than one trip to the spa to have it done that I don't know why everyone doesn't use it!  Not only did I see results quickly, but my husband noticed my softer, healthier skin too (and we all know what a big deal that is).  I use it 1-2 weekly in the shower and put the Replenish product on when I get out and it keeps my skin looking rejuvenated and healthy.  I love that I can do it at home instead of going to the spa to have it done.  Not only do I use it on my face, but I found that while I was pregnant the second time I could use it on my belly.  I would rub it on my growing belly in the shower then wash it off and put the Replenish on followed by some intense moisture lotion.  It was a miracle worker!  I was able to keep my previous stretch marks from getting worse and I didn't get any new ones.  I would recommend this product to ANYONE!

I was a skeptic at first for the cost. But these products are incredible! After just using them for 1 or 2 weeks, I had a noticable difference in my skin. Fewer lines and wrinkles and smoother complexion for my makeup. Even my husband noticed the difference!
