I love this stuff...other than the price (I guess I'm just cheep) I can apply it and it will last through most of the day only having to reapply after lunch and may be before going out for the night after dinner. So 3 applications through out the day is a great thing for me.

I sell and love Mary Kay! For the life of me though I can not figure out why the company is unable to produce lipstick with quality. I have wasted at least $50 attempting to give them yet another chance and try, try again. Only to be disappointed. Never again :(

Love the prices but the product sucks. Everytime I try it, although the consultant promises that they've made adjustments and new formulas that are hypo-allergenic -- my lips break out!!! A bunch of tiny itchy bumps.  I've used other products (cheap and pricey) and I don't get the problems that Mary Kay gives me.....I've tried on at least 3 occassions so I've done my share of trying to support friends who become consultants.  The product doesn't work for me.

Beautiful lasting color, but tastes like grease.
cost-conscious, looking for durability, loyal to great products, a frequent sufferer of chapped lips, animal lover, a lip balm addict, a lip gloss lover, not a fan of shimmer

I just want to clarify that I don't eat or taste lipstick, but when it's that close to your mouth after putting it on your lips, you can practically taste it, much less smell it. Anyway I do love the colors and staying power of Mary Kay's lipsticks and glosses, but their lipstick leave an icky taste in my mouth. bleck   Still, it's just about worth the taste to wear the great look.

Long wearing lipstick

I never could keep my lipstick on for more than a couple of hours, until I started using Mary Kay.  The lipstick stays on the longest of any other brand out there and I love the way it feels and looks.  I even had compliments about my lipstick and love telling people that is it Mary Kay.

There is a perfect Mary Kay lipstick for everyone and for every season. The wide array of colors is only the beginning. The lipstick has a nice, moisture-rich texture and stays on beautifully for hours. Mary Kay lipstick offers a great look and a great feel for a great price.

The new lipstick is moisturizing, stays on long, tastes good and comes in many colors. Glosses are also great to use with them. I guess you could say they are pricy but the value is there. If they feel great and stay on, price is no object to me. I will just buy fewer.

Not very pleased with the color I selected ...it is much lighter...could have returned it...but now using it up with another darker lipstick from a competitor

This product in a nutshell is: every lip-product junkie's dream!  Mary Kay brand lipsticks come in vast array of flattering colors and have a luscious, silky texture that really make the colors last all day without feathering or fading.

I have been a Mary Kay client on and off for about 10 years.  Some of the products are stellar, perform well, and last all day, whereas others completely stink and made my face look a little worse for wear.  Lipsticks from this line are one of the few things that I gravitate towards when I place an order with a consultant.  They are amazing!  I have yet ti...

I was never one to wear lipstick, however as I get older if I don't I seem to look tired.  I have tried other lip products but found that Mary Kay's lipstick lasts the longest and they have great colors.  Recently they added another benefit by putting the color on the end of the tube so I can tell what the color is without having to take the top off the tube.  Mary Kay makes great products that are good for just about any skin type and tone.  The colors they have go from light to very very dark color.  I tend to go for the berries.  They seem to go with most anything that I wear.  I can...

Quite thick and greasy

I tried the Mary Kay Lipstick color called apple berry.  I found it to be very heavy, thick and pasty feeling, sort of like crisco.  It also smelled very chemically and had a bit of a plastic taste.  I would not call this modern in any way.  This is more like your Granmother's make-up.  As for these products claims of being "number one", there is no truth to that claim and cannot be backed up by any published statistics.  In a nutshell, I found the formulations to be old-fashioned and old-lady like.

I have been trying Mary Kay lip liner and lipstick for several months and find it to be thick, cakey, and very drying, even worse than Avon. If I attempt to reapply, the liner breaks down into gross flakes, almost like a reptile shedding  skin. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

I love this product.  I also love the fact that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee If I picked the wrong color, they just give me a free product replacement or give my money back.
