This product does shape the eyebrows and leave them flat. But, when the gel dries, it leaves flaky patches in the eyebrows that look white. Eww! One good part it that it has a good brush. It's similar to a mascara brush and gets all of the eyebrow hairs. If the formula was better, it'd be a great product. I think it is great for training eyebrows. If you push them in a certain direction long enough, they will start to grow that way. I have been using just the brush and my eyebrows are much more neat and straight. I think they have finally gotten accustomed to being all together and going one way. Before I started using this brush, I would have a bunch of strays and they would be heading in all directions. They used to look super bush and were so unruly. Without out using the formula in the tube, they now look much better and are super neat. I am no longer self-conscious about my eyebrows.
