Didn't dry out skin but wasn't immediately effective. I prefer a more natural brand for my blemish control bc this formula wasn't as fast acting as I would have liked. Mks is good for some aspects of skincare but for toners I wouldn't say it's the best. To conclude this review, I'd have to say that unless you're looking for a drying method to clear skin of acne the I would recommend choosing a different brand. The price doesn't exactly make sense when comparing it to the effectiveness. In my opnion.

Unless your skin is very oily, do not use this product! If you have sensitive skin, this product is not for you. Although it feels cool and refreshing upon application, be sure to prepare yourself for the 2 minute afterburn! Ouch! Product reacts very differently in different areas of combination skin. Be careful, the end results can be shocking. Effectiveness Greatly improves the overall appearence of oily areas only. Do not apply to dry areas for risk of temporary burning sensation and skin peeling. Reduces pimple breakouts. Shrinks pores. Ease of Application The product has a tiny whole at the top of the bottle which makes it easy to squirt out onto a cosmetic puff or coton ball. Only a flip top cap would make it easier, but there is little risk of spillage due to the squirt feature. Convenience I purchased my bottle through a Mary Kay dealer. I haven't seen the product sold elsewhere. Side Effects I have combination skin, dry forehead oily nose and upper cheek and chin areas and normal skin around the sides of my face. It totally dried out my drier and normal skin areas, and caused my skin to peel. It was a little scary. Immediacy The product is fast acting. Results are noticable with first application.

This works really well, but it's definitely not for everyone. My friend tried it on my recommendation and it dried her skin out like no other. It's a great blemish control, and it really reduces the amount of acne on your face, but if you have sensitive skin or skin that is prone to reacting weird to different treatments, I wouldn't try this. My friend's face was red and blotchy for over a week after she stopped using this. For me, however, the product worked great. It basically removed my acne and it didn't dry out my skin, especially when I used the mary kay lotion that came with the set I got. It really is a great product and I recommend using it to people who don't have trouble with sensitive skin. Effectiveness Again, it works. The side effects are really the only problem, and those don't even occur in everyone. It really does work, though. Even in my friend's case, her acne nearly disappeared and even though her skin was red and blotchy, it was clear acne-wise. Side Effects It depends on the person and how they react to new products, but this cleanser definitely isn't for everyone.

I started using this acne treatment to try something new hoping for better results and I also used the rest of this collection to do complete facials to all around better my skin and was amazed after a couple of weeks at the better condition of my skin. I spent a little more on this treatment but it works so it was worth every penny. Effectiveness It took a while for this to actually give me results but after a week or two and with regular use I noticed a wonderful difference in my face. I like the mildness and non medicated smells of this product and when using it with its other products in its collection for facials I saw great results. Ease of Application This acne treatment is simple and easy to use and when used with the other corresponding products in its collection it works even better. Convenience I can use this product at home anytime and I like to work it into my shower routine after I shower and with using the other partner products it just works right into my routine. Side Effects This product did not give me any side effects. No dry patches where acne used to be like some other acne products. Immediacy It took a couple of weeks until I saw the full potential of the results of this product but they were amazing.

I enjoyed this product but it isn't for a person with oily skin . Effectiveness This product works really well. It cleans your face really well. But it also moisturizes and then after you use it you are supposed to out on lotion, so instead of my face feeling ckean and fresh, it felt packed with product, whuch it was. Ease of Application It is really simple. The bottle helps the ease to. All you need is a cotton pad and youre good to go. Convenience For the most part this was just a part of my daily routine. It was a simole 3 step process. Often times I would skip washing my face and just do this step because of how quick and easy it was. Side Effects Like I said the only thing I didnt care for about this product was the simple fact that it would make my skin oily. And when you already have oily skin and you are using the product to try and stop it, then it kinda defeat s the purpose. Immediacy Getting this product was quick and easy. I purchased this specific toner as I often break out and was hoping this could add something to my routine. Overall I just didn't notice much of a difference. I used this toner after my cleanser. It was easy to apply and felt refreshing on my skin for the first minute. It absorbed quickly and didn't leave any residue. I didn't find that this broke me out or caused any sensitivity issues. My skin didn't feel dry or tight after use. It just felt like I hadn't even applied any product. But here's the thing, it just didn't add or take away anything from my routine. It did not improve my blackheads or whiteheads. I removed the toner and nothing changed, it was not effective for me. Thus I just felt no need to purchase this again. I found that using treatment lotions was more effective for me, a toner just wasn't necessary. I also could not stand the smell, very chemically and overpowering.

I have been purchasing and using many Mary Kay products over the years and I truly have fallen in live with the Mary Kay products. I originally tried this Mary Kay Blemish Control Toner three many many years ago and I truly did live it. It is actually for oily and combination skin and it is the second step in a trio of products. You actually use this toner after you have cleansed and before you moisturize. This Mary Kay Blemish Control Toner is very good for people with acne and blemishes and it works wonders. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone who has problem skin or oily skin. Be sure and use the number three cleanser and moisturizer with it. You will love how oil free your face will be after use. Now one thing about this Mary Kay toner product is that it can be a little pricey but it is well worth it and it will last you a while. On another note it has a very nice scent that smells light and clean.

I bought Mary Kay Blemish Control Toner 3 after I went to a Mary Kay Party at a friend's house. I was excited to use it because of the way the saleswoman hyped it up. I applied it after I washed my face, and immediately I didn't like the feel of the toner on my skin. It felt like it was suffocating it, leaving residue on my face. I have used toners before that feel way more lightweight on my skin. Either way, I decided to continue to give it a shot. The next day my skin seemed bright, but very oily. A week later I had a few weird little bumps on my face, which were clogged pores, probably from all of the oil the toner was creating on my face. I stopped using this product after about 3 weeks when I noticed that my skin wasn't getting better at all, in fact, worse! Effectiveness Not for me... Made my skin have blemishes instead of controlling them! Ease of Application Easy application; I applied it with a cotton ball. Convenience Really convenient; Just apply after every time you wash your face. Side Effects Made me breakout and have oily skin! Ahh! Immediacy This product didn't do anything beneficial for my skin.

I really like Mary Kay, they have a great line of products that are soft and delicate for your skin. The Mary Kay Blemish Control Toner 3 is a great toner to have if you breakout, have oily skin or struggle with blackheads, pimples, etc. It is simple to use and you do not need much of it to do the job. I like to wet a cotton ball, squeeze out the excess water and then apply the toner. Then the toner absorbs on your face and not on the cotton ball. This is a soft toner that helps to control excess oil and keep the blemishes to a minimum. It is best to use it day and night. I have seen that it really helps to keep the oil to a minimum and does not irritate your skin or leave it excessively dry either. Effectiveness Helps to control oil and blemishes. Ease of Application Very simple to use. Convenience Convenient, to take along with you if you like as the bottle prevents spills. Side Effects None, that I have seen so far. Immediacy It requires continued use, but it will help.
