Marshall Mg-10cd Guitar Combo Amplifier —

This amp is terrible, I have played all the low end Marshalls from the MG series and they are all bad.  They are just like any other cheap solid state amp, but they are more expensive. For around $20 more than this you can get a good Tube Combo, which is much better.  They have a shrill sound, the Distortion is very thin and too "Digital" sounding, the controls (bass, treble, presence) really dont do much, not a big difference.  The only good thing would maybe be the CD input.

The Epiphone Valve Jr. combo amp is about $150. Ok, that's a bit more than $20, but well worth the price if you want something to practice with that actually sounds decent.

I agree that a Tube Amp sounds much better. But, where are you going to fing one for $100? Your words, "For around $20 more than this you can get a good Tube Combo, which is much better." SHOW ME WHERE!
