Mars - Chocolate Mix Skittles Reviews

When i went in for a quick run into the walgreens they had the new chocolate skittles out for 0.50. I decided to buy two, one of rme and one for my mother to try.

 I ate each different flavor separately and I was not impressed by the candy at all. The flavors were brownie batter, chocolate pudding, vanilla, chocolate caramel, and smores.. The flavors DID have a hint of what they were supposed to be, but it was just not my cup of tea and they were spit out immediately.  I let the skittles sit on my desk for a few days and when i got the I NEED CHOCOLATE NOW urge, did they become tolerable and...

I was very curiouse when I saw the new "Chocolate Skittles Mix", unfortunately, I was not impressed.  The flavors tasted exactly how they were supposed to, I have to give it that.  But the texture of a skittle and flavor of chocolate do not go together! I think if they had less of a powdery type flavor, they might be okay, but skittles are just little bits of sugar, so trying to make it a creamy candy and still make it a skittle is virtually impossible!

i'm sorry to write a bad review for this product, but whomever decided to mix chocolate with skittles had to have been crazy.  I think that these candies are beyond disgusting. Chewy chocolate (if thats what you want to call it) mixed with the sweetness of skittles. Eww. The chocolate is not even real. It is not even real imitation.  I dont even know how they can even call it chocolate.  Avoid these candies. If your craving chocolate there is aisles and aisles of it at the grocery store, if you want sweet candy theres aisles and aisles of it at the grocery, but please do not buy these two together....

I absolutely love these skittles i have allergies and because of my allergies to wheat i cant have regular because of the modified food starch in them. I sell these and i can barely keep them in stock then name makes people very curios about them so i easily make forty dollars a day just off these skittles. I found that the Smores flavor tasted more like a Tootsie roll than anything else, and the Chocolate Caramel tasted more like hot cocoa. I agree with you that the Brownie Batter wasn't very good - it tasted rather waxy, like cheap chocolate. However, the Chocolate Pudding was right on the money....
