What makes a good marriage is several things, but the most important is that you are both born again and the man is at a higher spiritual level than the woman. God created the husband to be in authority over the household and the wife to be submissive to the husband. This is beacaue God gives the man the vision for the family. It is also very important for both parties to have similar ideas about God, sex, raising kids, and finances just to name a few. Opposites may attract, but two people who are like minded and have the same vision will be much more happy and successful. The couple should talk and pray together daily. They should listen to one another and encourage one another. If they disagree, they shold resolve the conflict early on so that strife can not enter in and cause division, never go to be angry at one another. Next, it is very important for the couple to date each other at least once a week, no kids along, to keep the love strong between them. Finally, but equally important to noth people being born again, is that the couple needs to keep their priorities in life straight: 1. God, 2. Spouse, 3. Children, 4. Job, and so on. When a couple follows these guidelines, the marriage will not just be good, it will be great!

I appreciate that we all see marriage differently. For me, marriage is about being equals and treating each other with respect. I would never be with a man that didnt see me as his equal. I am definitely not inferior or submissive because I am a woman.

So subjugation of women by men is how to have a good marriage? I think you may have accidentally reviewed "How to have a happy relationship with your dog." It's hard for me to believe that a woman born in the 60s has such an antiquated and uneducated view about women and our place in society.
