Most Helpfulwell all i can say was i was really embarrassed when i watched this with my kids, how inappropriate this is for kids, they could have left out all the sexual parts and it was have been a much better movie i thought , it is not even safe for you to have your children watch movies about a dog and its...
read full review »I don't often watch new movies, especially ones that are based on books that I've read. I really enjoyed reading Marley & Me, though, and I like Jennifer Aniston so I decided to check out the movie. I wasn't disappointed.
The Marley & Me movie is very faithful to the book: it tells the tale of the Grogans (played by Jennifer Aniston and Luke Wilson) getting married and then getting a labrador retriever puppy, Marley, in an attempt to prepare themselves for parenthood. Marley is a giant handful and viewers see many his antics, including stealing and swallowing a brand new necklace, dragging...

I guess it's those months of hard studying (uhhmmm cough cough) but whatever it is I don't mind spending some time catching up on the lastest releases, like Marley & Me: The Movie. I admit, as much as I love reading, I never did finish this book, but according to my husband, it was really good and who am I to argue with the great beer and book reviewer Bryan Carey?
While trying to make sure I don't spoil the Marley & Me: The Movie for anyone . . . Owen Wilson is columnist John Grogan and Jennifer Aniston...
read full review »I am a dog lover, which is why I may have liked this movie so much. It contains humor, fun, tears and more.
Marley is a dog that a married couple adopt and he turns out to do everything wrong. I laughed out loud at a few of the incidents that I could identify with. Once the family gets bigger, Marley grows up and turns out to be a better dog day by day (with a few slip ups here and there). He eventually growns pretty old and has health complications that leads to the saddening scenes of the movie.
I enjoyed the mix of the movie and that it is family friendly. Very cute and worth seeing....
read full review »The movie Marley & Me was a great movie. I didin't expect to cry at the end. You see I had 3 Labs, a yelow, a black, and a chocolate. I still have the yellow and chocolate, but we lost our black lab to a car, so my family an i can relate this movie on losing a great freind and family member. You have to love dogs and their shanagns and all their messes. We waited for the movie to come out and it was worth the wait. My 10 yr old is in love with puppies and after this movie she wants nothing else but to be a veterian and hel al animals. She was laughin and the part when Marley is laying down with...

I tried to choose one that I thought they would like but my son knew I wanted to see Marley and Me so we did.
Through the whole movie we laughed and had a great time and at the end this movie had myself and 3 marines crying. I would recomend this movie for families and anyone else who wants a great heartfelt film.
This was a movie that you could actually picture the plot...
read full review »We watched the movie and sobbed at the end.........very close to home when we had to put our daughter's dog down. A pet is a very big part of the family and it hurt very much to go through this situation. We watched Marley and Me and felt the pain of our very own dog being put down. Very painful.
I love movies and I love dogs. So chances were I would at least like this movie. And I am not the type of person who gets overly emotional about movies. But this movie did a great job of reducing me to tears, more than once, by the end of the film. The actors were great and so was the script.
I enjoyed that the film depicted a realistic look at married life and parenthood. Too often Hollywood shows those two things as being all happiness. Like they are fairytales. This movie shows that sometimes being married is really hard. And sometimes having kids is just messy and not a great...
read full review »Marley & Me with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson was a delightful movie. Our whole family enjoyed it. There were parts that were so funny that we were busting out laughing out loud. Sort of ROTFL moments. There were parts of it though that had us crying too. Undeniable moments where it just really made the tears run down my cheeks. The whole movie focused on real life situations. Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson portrayed a really cute couple facing today's obvious ups and downs. The dog was so sweet that he reminded us of our own. Since the span of 6,7,or 10 years in dog's life makes a tremendous...
read full review »This is a story revealed by humor, honesty and tears. Most will know this film "Marley and Me" by a well publicized preview of a scene in which Marley, the dog is running by a car with his back-end being held by the male lead, Owen Wilson. This clip has deceived the movie goer into believing that this is your typical cute animal humor, feel-good movie. My advice is to leave the kiddies at home. The real world with disappointments, struggles, unexpected life changes and yes the inevitable that all living creatures face, is a very predominate theme throughout the movie. The way in which this...
read full review »I saw this movie with my fiancee, who was drawn to it because she thought it would be cute. The first scene notifies you that you are 10 years in the past, and Marley is a puppy. Uh-oh. You know what happens to dogs roughly 10 years after they are puppies, don't you. The first half of the movie is fun, because it's full of various dog-related hijinx. Jen and Owen are charming as always, but the last half of the movie becomes an ominous vigil waiting for the poor dog to pass on. The worst part isn't that Marley just dies, but that his death is drawn out for what seems like hours. The...
read full review »The movie "Marley and Me" was such a good movie. I felt such a range of emotions watching this movie. Laughter, anger, sadness, warmth, and joy. Both Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson did such a great job as this loving couple who decide to adopt a puppy. They sure did not know what they were getting themselves into. I have to add that I would commend the strength of the couple this story was based on in keeping Marley. I think most people would have given up on him very early on in his life. The story continues with them trying everything to train this rambunctous dog. Kathleen...
read full review »This movie started as a fun, and energtic movie. Jenifer Aniston and Owen Wilson are a great couple on screen. the chemistry they had between them was fantastic. I real life no one expects to get a dog and have it just fit right in to your family. It takes time and patience to get your dog where you want them to fit into your life. I think you should check into what kind of dog fits into your life before you go and get one. The couple on Marley and me just went out and found the cheapest dog, what do you expect? but the truth is they just let the dog run around with no guidence. ...
