About the Mark-My-Time Digital Bookmark - Neon Purple

This bookmark is .5Hx1.75Wx7.75L" - very thin so as not to ruin books but long enough for most and wide enough for the display to be read. This comes with a battery installed. It is a regular clock as well as an alarm. You can set it to go off at any time or use it as a countdown timer. It also has a cumulative timer for you to keep track of how much reading you have done (mostly for students, I would imagine). I actually use the timer to keep track of my net hours. It's amazing how high that number is. I keep this bookmark in a journal but I have used it when reading a book as well. I like to keep it around for the clock feature and I even set the alarm when I am working to remind me to take a pill or to take a break or even to EAT!

The alarm is not very loud but the pitch is good and I can hear it. I cannot hear very high pitches so I was relieved to know I could hear this pitch. Cycling through the commands is very, very simple. There is really no way that you can't know how to set this. It's not flimsy at all. It comes in a number of colors but, of course, I bought purple. I think this would make a great gift for a student. They could keep track of their reading and have a clock right by them so they never can say they lost track of time (like my son often says when he is doing homework and suddenly it's late).

My Viewpoint

For under nine bucks, you can't beat the quality and durability of this little gadget. It has many uses and it is very easy to use. I like it and give it 4 stars.
