Mark. Kiss Xpert Lip Smoothing Treatment Review

A few months ago I placed a huge order from mark which is a line of products from Avon that are targeted at 20-something women. I'm far from that demographic but I still find mark. products enjoyable to use.

Because I placed a huge order, I received a free lip product called kiss xpert lip smoothing treatment.  I had no idea what it was when I placed my order but when it arrived at my house I was intrigued by the description and the scent.


kiss xpert is a lip smoothing treatment that gently exfoliates lips leaving them soft and smooth. Along with a bunch of other ingredients that I cannot pronounce, it contains rice bran oil, white rice starch, and water lily extract which help to smooth and protect the lips.

kiss xpert does not come with any kind of applicator so you have to use your finger or a lip brush. I have weird germ issues so I use a lip brush.  The directions say to gently stroke the product over lips 2 or 3 times, remove, and then follow up with your favorite lip color.

This product smells so good!  It smells just like a sweet coffee concoction that's smothered in caramel and whipped cream. It doesn't taste as good as it smells but it doesn't taste bad either.

The treatment is kind of gritty. It doesn't look gritty but when you swirl your finger across the surface you can feel the grit.  It feels really good though and whenever I use it I can tell that it is really helping to get rid of the dry, cracked skin and moisturize the skin underneath. The massaging of the grit into my lips was invigorating and left my lips feeling really refreshed and stimulated.

After finishing the massage job I usually blot the gritty part away with a tissue, leaving the moisturizer to work its magic on my lips. It leaves just the slightest amount of shine but no color on my lips. After just a few days of use my lips felt softer and smoother and much more hydrated. I'm very please with the results.
