For the most part I had a great experience at Marist College. I enjoyed small classes, enthusiastic discussions, and wonderful teachers, all with the benefit of a great scholarship and a lot of flexibility as an adult student. As an adult student I was able to tailor a degree to my interests and it allowed me to utilize all my previous coursework at other schools. The faculty and administration were helpful and supportive and I still feel comfortable going back to Marist for help with resume writing and other job search issues. Marist also features a variety of clubs and groups to fit a number of interests. Although it sometimes get's the reputation of a sports school, I found that Marist can be what you want it to be. Since I was there to study what interested me, like Film, Women's Studies, Literature, and History, I found interesting and stimulating classes in those areas and my academic leanings were perfectly fulfilled. Just as importantly I was able to study part-time while working, and get my Bachelor's Degree without going into debt! Truthfully Marist was not my first choice of school, but in the end I was very happy to finish my undergraduate work there. It is a great environment for learning and I would recommend it highly.
