The bad news... please notice that is says per serving. That's for the full 16 oz pies...which have shrunk in the past few years to 14 oz pies. Still most people will eat most if not all of the 1 lb chicken pot pie when they eat a chicken pot pie and that meant you double the counts up above. The means the one pot pie will deliver about 90 percent of the fat and 95 percent of the sodium your supposed to have on a daily basis.
Yikes.
So once every few weeks perhaps, but it is not something you should be eating...
review »I make chicken pot pie, but I can't beat Marie Callender's. It really is that yummy. Flaky crust. Nice chunks of white meat chicken. Fresh tasting veggies. And, a wonderful white sauce. It's so good that it tastes homemade even if it is a frozen chicken pot pie.
I don't care for the other versions of Marie Callender's pot pies like turkey or if they add cheese in with the chicken. Those are OK I suppose, but it's the classic chicken pot pie that I love when I want a comfort meal.
These chicken pot pies come in different sizes. The local grocery store only has the big one, so I wait and get the 10...
review »There is something about a pot pie that is just so comforting, they are among the best comfort goods. However the Banquet Pot pies leave me feeling a little hungery after I finish one because they are so small. So that is why I chose to eat Marie Collender's Chicken Pot Pies, they cost a little more than the Banquet Pot Pies. But they are larger in size and more satisfied.
Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pies can be bought in bulk at places like Sam's or bought individually at in the freezer department at the local grocery store. They must stay frozen until you are ready to cook them.

review »These were recommended to me by my parents, and Just recently, I have tried them.
The vegetables are still bright and look appealing, also still have texture(not mushy). The white meat chicken is decent too. The crust is flaky, and flavorful. These can be microwaved, and have a crisper inside the box. I prefer to use the oven.
I bought a Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pie at the store a few days ago and threw it in the microwave yesterday for lunch and I must say, that is the best frozen food that I have had in a very long time. The chunks of chicken were as if I cooked them myself, and there was plenty of it!!! Great job Marie. I will buy it again!
