This unit is large enough to make more than one drink at a tie. It is fun to use at a party or get together and drinks look like they were made by a pro. It comes with recipes, instructions, and a shot glass for measuring - now the disadvantage and why I gave it a seven in my ratings.. Storage. A premium at our house and hard to come by. We find that this is just one more gadget that I find myself storing and only using a couple of times a year. Blending Power The liquids blend with the shaved ice smoothly and completely which is what makes the drinks so good. Versatility It does have recipes for other drinks but we have not used it for anything else and quite honesty I really don't think that I would.It's just one of those special gadgets that we initially used a lot and now find it is on the shelf and doesn't get used very often. Ease of Cleaning A ten here . t is a easy to use machine and surprisingly enough, it is easy to clean. Ease of Use Another ten. It is a simple easy to use machine. Design Looks good and guests always comment on what a great drink. We make a lot of frozen Margaritas without the alcohol and this machine works great. It comes apart and I put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher to wash. Durability We got this as a gift a while back and it should last a life time no more than what I have used it If we had a designated bar, I have the feeling it would get used a lot more.

I have the rechargeable margarita blender so that I could take it on outings, such as camping or a day at the beach. It was amazing at first, but after a while, the battery just did not last as long as it used to. Now, you have to charge it constantly. I might get two or three pitchers out of it before I have to charge the battery again. This can be a pain if you are entertaining. I was surprised at how loud it is as well. I do still use it and would buy another one if mine went out, but I would not get the rechargeable one again. Blending Power Sometimes you may have to send it through the blend cycle twice because the ice was not chopped up enough. Versatility The rechargeable one can be taken anywhere. Ease of Cleaning It is very easy to clean. Just wait for the extra ice to melt and empty the water trap, and run the pitcher through the dishwasher or the sink. Ease of Use Just push a button. It is really that easy. Design It could be a little less bulky, it takes up a lot of counter space. Durability It is pretty durable, as long as you have the non-glass pitcher.

I received this as a wedding present about 2 years ago. It works amazingly well for crushing ice and mixing it with liquids. It has a compartment where water can drain from the crushed ice, which is nice so the beverages do not get as watered down. I had hoped to use it for blending smoothies and other drinks as well, but the blade in the blender itself does not do much other than mix. I would recommend this product. Blending Power It does a great job at crushing ice. Versatility Only works well crushing the ice, then blending with liquid. Ease of Cleaning It comes apart very easily. The blade in the blender container is a little difficult to reach. I sometimes freeze drink mix and crush those so the drinks are less watery, and that is even easy to clean up, even though I do not think the top compartment is designed to really be cleaned. Ease of Use Very easy, even after more than a few drinks. Design It looks like the picture, but it is a little bigger then I thought it would be. Durability We have used this around 30 times and it runs as well as when we first used it.

This blender is very quick and easy to use. When we have lots of guests it is really easy to use, it holds about 4 servings. Its done pretty quick and when ever someone that is over wants a margarita it is ready to use. It is also one of the better blenders I have ever used.

I think overall its awesome. It works great. It's really quite. Easy to wash and put back together. Only down fall is the price. I even let me kids try to operate it with my help and it was so simple to use they were even able to do it I only watched. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for something like this. I like that it's not overly large. If they came in more colors I think it would boost the sales more. I got this as a christmas gift though from my grandma. She said she has one also and thats why she thought it would be great for my family. I am so glad she decided on this on :) Its perfect. She has one just like the one she bought me. She grabbed it up as soon as they were selling on the shelves!! We have used it to make slushies which are the same as icees. We have also made smoothies in it. Oh man my grandma has some AMAZING recipes for smoothies!! I can add spinich and kale and the kids dont even know its in there! I have also used carrotts!! The possibilities are endless really!! I am thinking I might just make something tonight for them for when they come home from school. Maybe we will do a strawberry with banana and add a little greens and carrotts to it. Maybe a tiny bit of celery even!!! I am excited just thinking about it can you tell. We are going to have fun with this during Christmas break!

We use this machine to concoct yummy drink to sip by the pool. It makes awesome Margaritas. It does a great job grinding up ice. It is powerful and has last us quite a while, giving us the same results as day one. It is so easy to assemble and use. Clean up is a breeze as well. This machine is a little bulky and doesn't brake down into many pieces which is a great thing but also a bad thing. This makes it a little inconvenient for storing. It's a However, this is my only complaint regarding this product. Blending Power Grinds up ice in a breeze. Versatility Not too many drinks require the use of this machine. If you don't need ice blended into your drink, you don't really need to drag out this machine. Ease of Cleaning Only a couple of parts that need to be removed and cleaned. Ease of Use There aren't too many pieces to this machine which makes it easy to assemble and use. Design Nice on the eyes but horrible for storing. Durability We've been using this machine for a few years and it still runs just as good as day one.

I received this machine as a gift 3 years ago, and I do absolutely love it! It is a very fun machine that is always the life of parties at our house. The machine is simple to use (much more so than some of the more expensive models). The only frustrating thing is that ice needs to be JUST right to achieve optimal results. Blending Power Very powerful!! SO fun to watch the instant tornado that appears when the machine is turned on. Both the ice shaving portion and the blender are very powerful. Versatility Let's be honest, it makes margaritas, and that is about it. I suppose you could use it as a blender, or make slushies for the kids, but it's not likely since the machine is so bulky. Ease of Cleaning There is a tricky spot to clean where the ice comes out. It can be wiped down with a cloth. The pitcher is not glass and is dishwasher safe. The worst part to clean is the ice draining bucket in the back. It has tricky corners and canget moldy if not washed and dried very well after every use. Ease of Use Fill the pitcher, push a button....done! So easy! Design Fun, whimsical design.Great for parties, not so much for an everyday appliance. Unless your kitchen is green.... Durability We travel with ours, and it handles it well.

  I got a margarita maker for Christmas.  Husband tried it out and made us some drinks.  He does not even like Margaritas but cannot stop talking about how good they tasted.  He wants to throw a party this summer just to use it.  the machine worked very well and took less than a minute to mix.  Following the instructions we got almost 4 drinks. The consistency of the drink was perfect. One problem we could see was that the directions for the ice could be a little more precise.  It states to fill up the ice container.  For us, we would have rather had a amount listed such as 4 cups.    Another suggestion would be to have a recipe book enclosed.  Many other slushy drinks could be made with the blender.  We hope to make frozen mudslides.  Also instructions for virgin drinks so that children could enjoy a summertime refreshment. It is a very large machine and it was hard finding counter space for it.  It is very high so it would not fit under some cabinets.

The name says it all! I worked as a bar tender for years and this blender is the closest home blender that I have ever found to what I used to use. When I saw this item for sale I just had to buy one for my husband as a college graduation gift. Margaritas are his favorite drink and he just couldn't duplicate that restaurant quality consistancy with a blender. This Margaritaville machine actually shaves the ice instead of chopping it like a blender would do. This creates that nice smooth consistancy of the drink instead of a lumpy texture. It's very easy to operate. All you do is fill the ice chamber with ice, pour the correct amout of your drink mixture into the pitcher (it will make 1-3 servings at a time), set the machine to how many servings you would like, then turn it on. The machine automatically measure,shaves and blend the perfect amount of ice according to the amount of servings. No more watery drinks. My kids love me to make them 'Virgin Margaritta' whenever they have pool parties.
