March of the Penguins 2005 —

March of the Penguins (2005)

What is it?
March of the Penguins
is a documentary about Penguins!  Narrated by Morgan Freeman,  this movie transforms us into the world of penguins.

Every year penguins travel to their breeding grounds to mate, hatch eggs, raise their babies and make their way back home.
Along the way, they face predators, get sick, and lose the group and get lost.
But with the bad, there is much more good.  Baby "chicks" are born and it's so touching to see the Daddy penguin take care of them.

My Viewpoint!
We came across March of the Penguins on the Discovery Channel and was captivated.  I have heard and read all the reviews on this movie, which have ranged from great to terrible.  I wasn't so sure that I would enjoy a movie about nothing but Penguins, but I did.

This movie is educational, exciting, sad and so very informative.

My youngest daughter saw this and started having nightmares about penguins chasing her around.......She is 16 by the way. I caught part of it and enjoyed it though. Ron
